Excellent and attentive customer service, spacious well equipment room, comfortable location, perfect location to walk to the old centre and wonderful buffet breakfast. The Greek word, filoxenia, translated to hospitality was what Greeks are known for and exactly what we experienced at the IRA City Hotel in Kalamata.

Ένα όμορφο και άνετο ξενοδοχείο στη καρδιά της πόλης της Καλαμάτας κυριολεκτικά δίπλα σε όλα χωρίς να χρειάζεται να πάρεις αυτοκίνητο. Εξαιρετικά σημαντικό το γεγονός πως διαθέτει και πάρκινγκ πλησίον του ξενοδοχείου . Τα δωμάτια όμορφα, ευρύχωρα αποπνέουν φρεσκάδα και καθαριότητα. Το πρωινό δεν έχει τίποτα μα ζηλέψει από αυτά των μεγάλων ξενοδοχείων εφόσον παρέχει ποικιλία και σου δίνει και τη δυνατότητα να δοκιμάσεις νόστιμα τοπικά προϊόντα. Και τέλος το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος φροντίζει να σε κάνει να νιώθεις σαν στο σπίτι σου...

I visited Ira city hotel in Kalamata when on vacation with family, the rooms where very clean and nice decorated, breakfast was nice with local products and the staff was very helpful, I would surely chose it again in the future!

The best hotel we stayed at- the family that owns this hotel has thoughtfully created a space that is both peaceful and centrally located for a wonderful stay in Kalamata. The room was thoughtfully laid out and quiet, with a small balcony. The bed was comfortable and the in-room amenities appreciated. Breakfast was lovely and served in the reception area of what used to be a hospital/birthing pavilion. This is an amazing hotel which repurposed the space beautifully.

Great location in city center. Breakfast ok in foyer. Free parking 100m away. Very good matrasses. Good terrace to enjoy atmosfere outside. Just a little bit more room to store our clothes (just simple hooks behind the door f.ex) would have been fine. Shower has no curtain however would have been nice.

Even before we arrived for our 4-night stay we knew from the communication we had that we would enjoy our stay, and that’s because the reception staff were amazingly friendly, super competent and thoughtful! The amenities were exceptional too, from the wonderful breakfast bar with local delicacies and accommodation for our dietary requests (vegan, G-F) to the exceptional spa experience, this small city hotel is without a doubt the best choice for business stays or a vacation meant to explore the city and the greater area. P.S. Amazing food at nearby Bodega!

The hotel is newly opened (December 2023) and is in immaculate condition. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street. It has a spa area in the basement which my wife enjoyed. Despite being in the centre of Kalamata we found it to be pretty quiet and did not get our sleep disturbed. There is private parking available about 150m away. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. A tasty buffet breakfast was served in the smallish bar/restaurant area on the ground floor.

Room 206 was chosen for me .. Incredibly decorated and warm room, delighted !! Unique smell .. HSK well done 👍 Well done 👏 But I also visited the IRA Spa ! Professionalism, ethics and courtesy.. three words that I could describe the Spa Manager (Georgia) who happened to give me the trea**ent I had as well as Rosa's therapist who from what I learned she has trained in the list that Georgia has created ! Finally, I close with Katerina, manager and owner of the place, who solves everything with her smile!

La habitacion estaba bastante limpia y todo muy nuevo. El desayuno también muy bien.
