Excellent customer service and friendly staff, very clean facilities, location is convenient and close to rail station, shopping mall, public facilities. The parking was a bit tight but probably it’s because we had a Toyota Hiace bus, the surroundings were so peaceful and quiet and the rooms, beds, bathrooms were value for money.

The most impressive thing for us was the way the staff dealt with our initial problems. We had been travelling camp style and had a lot of gear with us like portable fridge etc. we couldn’t have carried it all upstairs so they sorted out a ground floor room for us. The rest of the stay was marvellous in every way. We recommend driving about town to avoid encountering some of the more troubled indigenous folk, most were ok and friendly though.

Accommodation layout was ideal for 3 adults with 2 bedrooms and additional toilet downstairs. Outdoor clothes line in enclosed area at rear of apartment was an added bonus together with provided washer and dryer. Location is the major attraction and it is an short and easy walk to main street. Experienced Wi Fi issues. Initially informed by reception that they were not aware of any problems but the following day the response was that the server had gone down and they were working to have it rectified. Room was serviced daily during our 3 night stay and plenty of coffee and toiletries provided. Defrosting of fridge needs attention, noisy plumbing noises from shower and internal stairs creak and groan when in use. Linen hand towel provided for kitchen in lieu of a tea towel and only a small number of hangers for clothes were available.

There is not much choice, this town is not bad, but the service is not good, the front desk efficiency is very low.
