Stayed here for 9 nights, loved the service and sound proof rooms. The dinner and breakfast chefs were amazing and the location of hotel is part of Chaya centre which has a amazing coffee spot called Arabica coffee!! Once we gathered our bearings around Thamel, shopping and external restaurants are very easy to walk to and enjoy. When using taxis we saved so much downloading Pathao so we did not have to negotiate on price and get overcharged. Highly recommend Aloft in Kathmandu and they are great ambassadors of the Marriott name and brand!

Lovely hotel with great green spaces and pool. The rooms were very comfortable, with a separate tub in the bathroom. The staff were very attentive and friendly, especially Agira who helped us book a taxi. Would stay here again if I returned to Nepal and would recommend to a friend!

The hotel is newly renovated and the bedding is new and clean. The front desk staff are very good, enthusiastic and thoughtful. Many of them have been trained in Sanya resort hotels and can speak some Mandarin. The restaurant on the first floor even helped us make instant noodles for free🍜 Recommended, will stay here again next time There is a SPA in the hotel, and guests can get 15% off. The technique is very good, but there are only three essential oils to choose from: lavender, ylang ylang and eucalyptus.

Must be praised, the staff is very friendly. Breakfast-included, breakfast is very simple, there are eggs and milk tea, it feels good. It’s really comfortable to talk about the hotel’s air conditioning again. Very cool. It’s great to sleep. The price is also relatively high, so I recommend everyone to live. There is a convenience store nearby, and the room also provides drinking water, which is great. I will stay here again in Nepal next time.

Having had weeks of Dahl and rice and noodles, it was great to binge on pizza and burgers. Internet was a bit intermittent on the 5th floor but the room is quieter than those facing the courtyard in the west wing.

Enjoyed my stay at this amazing hotel, very spacious room and bathroom. Beautifully designed with loads of natural sunlight, the wooden floor and part of the walls are perfectly stunning. I loved the futon type of king size bed, very comfortable, bedside table with loads of electrical outlets. The staff are polite, attentive and helpful, there’s always bottles of water in the room, if hungry just go to their nice restaurant and order some steamed momos which were delicious or eat them in your own suite. Walk out of the hotel and we’re right in the middle of shops and restaurants so great location. Very safe and secure, security guards standing at the gate which is locked and guarded during the night, though Nepal is very safe country but the owners of the hotel makes it super duper safe. Cleaning staff is always around to make sure everything is spick and span through out the hotel…what more do you ask for when you’re at home away from home. We will return!!!

I stayed for 4 nights in this exclusive property situated at a prime location in Thamel. I recommend Room No. 503. The room rates are quite reasonable. They have complimentary breakfast. The food was delicious. Wifi was excellent and above all the owner and his staffs are just great. Plz also ask for Mr. Pandey who conducts excellent trips ( Budget holidays pvt Ltd.) Located in the busy Thamel area of Kathmandu. This place offered very comfortable stay , we were a group of 9 friends. There is a nice garden area too. We spent 3 nights totally. Breakfast buffet on the top floor was good and nicely located overlooking the mountains surrounding Kathmandu. 20 mins to airport and walking distance to Durbar square and Thamel market area.

Great place. Great staff. Budget rooms are very basic but for 8 dollers, it is what it is. Staff arranged a great guide for a 3 day awesome trek and invited me to a rooftop BBQ on return. Guides and taxis are a lower price than other places i asked. Good breakfast. Highly recommend.

I visited Nepal 2 times in this year. First in January and 2nd in may. For both of my visiting I stayed at thamel grand hotel. They are very friendly and gave us a homely environment. When I went with my family for 7 days tour. They made a reasonable tour plan for me. And the experience was excellent.
