Kumari Boutique Hotel

Book this hotel at the very last minute as we reached Thamel earlier from our EBC Trek. This hotel is located at a corner of the back street. Just walk 100 steps and you will be able to reach the main street with cafes and restaurants, shops and money changer. Away from the traffic, my husband and I are able to have a peaceful sleep. The breakfast is simple and nice. Staff are attentive and friendly. Room is clean and hot water heater works perfectly well. Highly recommended if you likes boutique hotel.

We’re staying in Kumari hotel for 5 nights. The first moment we arrived at 11pm they greeted us so well. Checked in was smooth. Room is quiet spacious. Bed is okay although the sheets need to be changed with the brand new ones. Cleanliness needs to be improved as well especially the dust at the towel closet right next to the toilet needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Breakfast is tasty with varied ingredients. The staff is super friendly and helpful especially Rosie. We talked a couple times and she’s very thoughtful. I would recommend Kumari hotel to anyone and will comeback and stay here in a heartbeat.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. At the beginning of my trip and at the end. I had a great sleep the first time I stayed so decided to book it again at the end. The hotel is an the end of an alley so it is quiet enough. The staff at this hotel are very nice and accommodating. The breakfast has a lot of options. I would stay here again.

Quiet located but near the bustling Thamel area in a few footsteps. All staff were very friendly to me and happy to help or give an advice to you. Lovely breakfast served. Room size is great and nice shower facilities.

Everyone at Kumari Boutique was very friendly. I enjoyed staying here - it’s off a quiet street yet very near the central Thamel shopping area. I think that’s the best of both worlds. Breakfast (esp the fried veg noodles) was a decent selection - with eggs cooked on demand.

Small boutique hotel with amazing service, the people are so helpful. Shree Jana at the reception is very cheerful, she always greetings the guest whenever come in and out of the hotel. My flight was early past midnight, they gave special price to stay at the hotel till 3 hours before my departute. Breakfast also good, serves lots of fruits. Location is close to all the shops and restos.Recommended for travellers who are coming to Kathmandu and want to stay around Thamel. Thank you for all the staff at Kumari Boutique hotel.

This is the second time I'm leaving a review for Kumari Boutique Hotel. I stayed here for a few months and it really felt like home. The rooms are super clean and equipped with everything you need. The area is great, in the heart of Thamel yet quiet and peaceful. Many cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. The staff are super friendly, professional, and accommodating. A huge thank you to the Kumari team for making my stay pleasant and comfortable. You guys are wonderful :). I will definitely come back when I visit Kathmandu again. I highly recommend it.
