This hotel was not clean. Had the dirtiest swimming pool we've ever seen had hair floating everywhere and was a cloudy murky color. Sheets were dirty, bathroom was dirty and the fridge had hair inside the door on the shelf. Obviously cleanliness isn't a priority for them.

Good location. The only negative was the bathroom door locking and being very difficult to reopen. Looks like this has been going on for a while. Poor Maintenace. Friends in another room also had negative experience with the bathroom door. For a place that charges what they do, this is not acceptable.

These are observations meant to help, not criticisms. We reserved an “accessible” room because that was all that was available and we like the bigger shower and handheld shower head. We flooded our bathroom and used up all our towels trying to soak up water overflow. We did not understand there was a drain in the middle of the room for that, plus we didn’t like having to walk through and stand in the water by the sink. There should have been instructions or explanation posted. Also we were told there was cleaning service every other day but we didn’t get it until our third day there. Instructions for auto blinds were too small to read.

Elliott, the evening person at the front desk was outstanding, he deserves a huge raise. We enjoy this hotel and its proximity to Union Station and the World War I Memorial. Only thing I wish was better is the breakfast.

Everything was fine except the pillows were AWFUL! A queen bed was given to us instead of the king we reserved and 3 FLAT lumpy pillows.

The staff was great help! They helped us upgrade rooms and then we accidentally left a watch behind and they mailed it to us!

Overall it was a great experience. Food was good and i was glad the pool was open for my kids to enjoy. All staff were nice, even when checking in at 11pm.
