Excellent everything

Hotel was in a great location, within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. There was always someone near the front entry to help, answer questions, get a cab, etc. My 3 rating has to do with our ******* VIP status. I booked this hotel for that reason. On check-in, we weren’t acknowledged as VIP, no upgrades, no higher floor for view, no free breakfast , etc. I had to ask about it at checkout and was told we had an $18 food credit. When it cost us over $1200 to stay for 4 nights, I would expect more than an $18 credit. We wouldn’t consider this a VIP hotel, as all other VIP hotels we have booked in the past have gone above and beyond.

Posh hotel in excellent venue location. Stayed for the Big XII basketball tournament and this hotel is 5 blocks from the venue. Easily walkable. Parking, food, gift shop is all very pricey, but expected with this level of hotel in a downtown location.

Room and location were excellent. Parking spots are minimal on a busy week and mainly for compacts. Use valet parking is my recommendation.

Conveniently located to power and light, the street car which has multiple stops for sightseeing and eats. Loews is at least a yearly stop for us. Quiet, great views of KC skyline. Pool was clean and refreshing. Good drinks at the bar.

Main issue was the elevator situation. There were two large events going on at the same time and only two working elevators. We wpuld wait uo to 30 minutes to get one that was not already full. Ended up taking the stairs from the 23rd floor just so we could make the check out time.

The room and facilities were excellent. The service at the front desk and other areas could be better for the price point. There over charge for silly things like late check out and small things that are typically complimentary at other hotels.

Great room, really nice upscale property, the room service and restaurant double cheeseburger and fries were phenomenal. Everything was clean, staff was friendly, we can to town to see Hamilton at KC Music Hall and hotel was easily within walking distance. Highly recommended, no problems of any kind
