Yambi Guesthouse

This hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and always helpful, making the stay feel welcoming from start to finish. The rooms and bathrooms were well maintained, and the common areas were perfect for relaxing and meeting other travelers. Excellent location and great value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Yambi Guesthouse during our time in Kigali and felt immediately at home. We were three people: a couple and a 16-year-old Guy, and it was the perfect place to start a trip through Rwanda. The guesthouse is calm, welcoming and very well located. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the shared spaces have a relaxed, friendly vibe. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. On a personal note, it was a real joy to reconnect with Patrick, whom I had met ten years ago in a hostel in Lithuania. What a surprise to meet again in Rwanda, and to see how far his project has come. Warm atmosphere, great people, and a true sense of hospitality. Highly recommended.

We loved this place in Kigali. It was very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast (which was included) was very rich and with lots of variety. We'd definitely stay here again.

My stay at Yambi House was exactly what I needed. If you are tired of visiting the same city in a different location and staying at the same hotel with a different name and you are coming to Rwanda stay at Yambi House. Not only did I feel safe and well taken care of, I felt apart of the community. The breakfast is great; cooked to order, shower is hot, rooms are clean with a home feel, and the WIFI is excellent. The short walking distance from the house to the road will get you a bus or a taxi; if you dare, a ride on the back of a motor bike (I did) to town and anywhere you need to go. If you are a single woman traveling alone and want to feel safe and connected to something more than the typical tourist experience...but a bit nervous...Yambi House will not disappoint. What Patrick has created is bigger than just his vision it is a welcoming spirit that allows for a transformative space known as Yambi House.

Really nice and relaxing, it feels like waking up in paradise. The staff is really kind and helpful. The food is excellent fresh, tasty and healthy. rooms are just perfect very nice , clean and quiete. Hight quality place i totally recommend.Feel free to ask questions or book your tour directly with the hotel they really know the area and will plan the best experience for you.
