Sakura Sakura Hot Springs

Attentive service, rich breakfast and dinner, surprises. It will be more ideal if there are more staff who can understand English as a foreign language to assist in communication in the future. Some of the facilities are dated and hopefully will be updated in the future.

晚餐份量很多，只是生果得一片橙及兩粒細芒果，比想像中差一點。早餐雖然是一份，份量也很足夠。有泥漿溫泉，非常特別。

I used it for a day trip to Kagoshima while sightseeing. You can purchase towels, body soap, etc., so you can stop by while driving. It's only open from 11am, so I wish it would open a little earlier in the morning.

Anyone can enjoy a full body mud pack. My uncle went by himself. Still, I was able to easily enjoy the full body mud pack on my own to my heart's content. Shikamo, the open-air bath was liberating and nice.

From the entrance to the hot spring to the changing room, you pass through a semi-outdoor hallway, where a friendly black cat awaits you. They welcomed me quite confidently and said meow. Perhaps because it was lunch time, there was only one other bather. One of the two bathtubs was empty. It's not a mud hot spring, but rather natural mineral mud brought from far away, placed in the open-air bath. It doesn't smell as bad as I expected, and when I applied it to my skin, let it dry, and then took it off, my hands definitely felt smoother. The temperature of the outdoor hot water was not very high, and since we went during the cold season, it took courage to come out. The person in charge who came to check the quality of the hot springs along the way even said, ``It's cold, so it's better to take an indoor bath.''

Sakura Sakura Onsen is a hotel located in Kirishima Taguchi, Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. It is characterized by a natural mud hot spring. On November 14, 2021, I visited Kirishima Shrine. From there, I drove to Sakura Sakura Onsen. The parking lot is very large. We arrived at the main building where we would be staying for the day. The inside looks like this. The system is to check in at the main building and then move here. Our room is on the second floor, but there's no elevator (sweat), so it's a difficult situation for those of us with a lot of luggage...Due to the new coronavirus, the staff won't be able to help us, so it's difficult for elderly people. On this day, I stayed in room 213. It's an 8 tatami Japanese-style room. The view from the window is like this. Facilities include a refrigerator and water heater. TV and closet. Wash basin. The toilet has a heated toilet seat. I immediately entered the hot spring. This place features a natural mud hot spring, and there were mud packs. It has become even more beautiful (lol) It's smooth, isn't it? Head to the dinner venue. Having to go to the main house each time to go to the hot springs or the dinner venue is quite a hassle. Rainy days and cold winter days seem to be tough. The lighting is beautiful. Arrived at the dinner venue. It's a hot pot dish. It is said to be pork shabu. Chicken fishballs. Apparently it's a black pig. There were also sashimi and other items. Of course beer (lol) and fruit to finish. The next morning, we moved back to the main house. Head to the breakfast venue. It's chilly on this day. In the end, it took 5 round trips to get to the main building (sweat).We had breakfast at the same place as dinner. A buffet-style system where you can choose natto and other items. I think 13,000 yen is a little high. I checked out and drove on.
