We travelled to this hotel as a family with a young toddler aged just under 2, travelling from the U.K. This hotel isn’t 5 star, probably 3 star as others have stated because of the service they provide - the service received was poor. Most of the staff in the restaurants are rude and this was a common occurrence between buffet restaurants and A la Carte. Very rarely a welcome or even a friendly smile, you are ignored and have to approach staff yourselves if you need anything, and good luck trying to order a drink as basic ‘Beer’, Coca Cola’, ‘Rose wine’ doesn’t seem to translate well here. The staff barely speak English, yet ironically most of their signage is in English/Turkish, which means communication is a real issue however you can get by with Google translation, but if you have any sort of accessibility or dietary requirement then I discourage you to book this hotel as this could cause harm for you and your family. One night we visited the A La Carte Turkish restaurant and the head waiter didn’t greet us, he was extremely rude when we asked where we could sit and he instead decided to serve another family who entered after us and completely ignore us, I made him aware of his actions and he didn’t apologise for his behaviour nor continue to serve us for the remainder of the night but instead he just ignored us yet he was of a senior level and I would expect a better service from someone in this position - for hotel management this occurred on the 11th June 2024 at 7pm. This really ruined the experience for us. Before travelling I contacted the hotel advising I would need a travel cot for our stay, this wasn’t arranged upon arrival and instead at 1am we had to wait for this to be arranged to be delivered into the room after a very long day of travelling with an infant, a hotel claiming to be 5 star would have organised this as part of their ‘5 star service’ at my request prior to check in and I wouldn’t have to had to chase reception to ask where the cot was at least 30 mins after arriving at the room in the middle of the night either - very poor. Meal times at this hotel are the worst, we struggled to find tables past 7.30pm, the high chairs are filthy but claimed to be cleaned (pack dettol wipes with you, you’ll be surprised of the extra dirt these pick up), we learnt that you could enter Starlight buffet at 6.30pm with a child and we did this for a few nights until one of the chefs shouted at us when plating up our child’s food stating the counter was closed and not open until 7pm - children’s dinner is served at 6.30pm, it’s printed in the hotel’s literature and staff need educating on this - we informed management of this incident. Honestly, meal times were stressful here the buffet halls are so busy, over crowded, noisy and there’s not enough staff to cater when ordering drinks/ replacing glasses and cutlery. It would be so much easier if the hotel provided drinks dispensers so you could serve yourself with water and soft dri
