Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kobe Sannomiya

The room size is typical for Japan, but it has all the necessary amenities. It's very quiet at night with excellent soundproofing. It's not far from Sannomiya, and there's an accessible path to the airport bus stop. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven right downstairs.

Conveniently located near Sannomiya Station, this hotel offers excellent soundproofing and a clean room with a full set of amenities. The room is a bit small, making it ideal for light travelers. Overall, it's great value for money.

The hotel is super close to Sannomiya Station, making it convenient to go anywhere. Breakfast was decent. The room was quite small, but fine for a solo traveler. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, which is handy.

Highly recommend this hotel for its superb location! It's just a 5-minute walk from the JR station, right next to a convenience store, and has an airport shuttle bus stop nearby, making getting around incredibly convenient. The "Sannomiya Niku Gekijo" restaurant downstairs serves delicious food. The connecting rooms are spacious and comfortable, perfect for families. Given its excellent transport links and nearby amenities, it offers fantastic value for money and is definitely my top choice for accommodation in Kobe.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Sannomiya Station and the green Kobe Shimbun building. However, the hotel itself is a bit tucked away. I really struggle with Google Maps' walking directions; the arrows are often erratic, even when I try to 'realign' myself, and it frequently leads me on detours. It took me a while to find it, circling around. A tip for finding the hotel: first, look for Starbucks, then turn in from that intersection, find Yoshinoya, and once you see 7-Eleven, you should basically spot the hotel sign. The room has a standard Japanese layout; it's not large, and my 28-inch suitcase couldn't fully open, but it was perfectly fine for a one-night stay. The front desk staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. In the lobby on the first floor, there are complimentary skincare samples and other amenities. Breakfast was a bit basic, just a small counter, and you had to queue to get your food. One thing I definitely want to praise is the abundance of power outlets: several by the headboard, on the side panel, and underneath, which made charging devices incredibly convenient.

We booked a triple connecting room, which actually meant two separate rooms, so we had two bathrooms. The hotel offers breakfast, and while the variety isn't huge, there are some small changes daily. The location is excellent, very close to both JR and Hankyu stations, making it super convenient for getting around.

The room is probably around 10 square meters, so it's hard to even open a suitcase. The best part is its excellent location, less than a 5-minute walk from Sannomiya Station. There are many great restaurants and shops nearby. This is my second time staying at this hotel; the twin room I had last time was larger. So, if possible, book a twin room instead of a double. Of course, the double room is very affordable, around 350 during the summer.

The location is convenient, but the surrounding area is under renovation, making the entire hotel vicinity look quite messy. The lobby is rather small and lacks any workspace, making the whole place feel cramped. The room size is a bit small, and the desk inside is also small, but it's movable, which is a nice touch.
