Excellent quiet location tucked away from the main beach. Snorkel right off the private small beach. A short 2 minute walk to the main beach. 8 minute walk into town for all the restaurants, massages, motorbike rentals. They have their own motorbike rental as well. Great clean and small place. Would highly suggest if you’re looking for a quiet escape but still want to be close to food and restaurants.

This is one of the best hotels on Samet Island! It's super clean, the staff are really friendly, and it even has its own private beach.

An absolutely terrible experience. I booked two rooms, and even though it showed availability, only one was successfully confirmed. I was then forced to stay at another hotel about a 10-minute walk away. My elderly parents and children stayed at this one, which was incredibly inconvenient. The front desk staff were maliciously suspicious, constantly implying that four people would be staying in their room, with endless warnings and disbelief, which was very infuriating. There's no breakfast, you can't eat inside the room, and the outdoor chairs were covered in sand and leaves that no one bothered to clean. There were quite a few mosquitoes inside the room, so make sure to keep the windows closed and remember to bring your own mosquito repellent and spray. If I had to say anything good, it has a very small private beach where you can see the sunrise. However, it's not a sandy beach, but a rocky one.

Larissa is a nice, little, economical option for Samed - walking distance to the main town and the main beaches - many restaurants and some bars along the main road in town and along the beach - can walk all the way down towards the Gecko Bar area along the beach at low tide. I felt it was pretty private despite how close together the buildings are, but I did have a standalone unit. Friendly staff. I actually enjoyed the rocky beach area in front of the hotel for reading and quiet, and the swimming beach is only about a two-minute walk. I can recommend Larissa - I thought the staff were nice.

The room was much better than I expected, mainly because my expectations were so low. Some photos in the comment section and reviews on a certain social media platform made me quite worried. However, once I entered the hotel, the overall environment was actually very good. The room layout was simple but not rundown, damp, or uncomfortable. Both my friend's room and mine were relatively clean and fresh – perfectly acceptable. What really stood out was the price, plus the convenient location very close to the main street. There's also a small private beach behind the hotel. My friend and I enjoyed snacks on a long table by the sea at night, and a big black dog even joined us, hoping for some treats, haha! It was a very comfortable experience. The hotel staff were also very friendly; I didn't feel any discrimination. They always helped with luggage when we came and went.

Lovely larrissa resort . Just out the way ,but near enough for everything. Staff amazing ,friendly ,helpful . Room lovely,bed good . Shame no pool

Before they made their home very clean and comfortable, but this time we go seem like long time not so new, have some location can take good pic. Don't forget bring your shampoo and shower gel. Anyway, same before. They have a good price and better than other hotels at the same price.

Larissa consisted of Shelley huts in stilts。 the room is clean . The staff is friendly. It’s very deep in about 15 mins from tge pier and taxi takes you to saew Kew beach hotel , you will have to walk another 5-6 mins on an uneven road . For visitors who cannot walk, the hotel is unsuitable .No breakfast and no cutlery so walk for every meal . Beach is near  .

The hotel was great and the personal was really helpful. Everything was clean. The small private beach is great and it's very close to the main beach with the Fire show. I recommend renting a bike to go around the island and discover more beaches. 

It was amazing to stay at Larissa samed resort. Very friendly stuff, and comfortable conditions. If we go on koh Samed we will stay here again.
