Malibu Samed Resort ★★★
"Great location on Vongduan beach. Very spacious , clean bungalows; nice staff; amenitiesare basic but in line with other similar hotels in koh Samet. A reading light would be nice. They explain at check in that room cleaning has to be requested by hanging the sign, you might have to draw the cleaners attention then they will clean the room. Breakfast is ok, mostly Thai options ; a couple of sweets and more choice of fruit would be nice. The only real minus is the rock hard bed, same as sleeping on the floor. They should not allow boats to land at the beach among swimmers, there is a jetty few meters away... better arrange a porter service for those who don't want to carry their bags."
Sai Kaew Beach Resort ★★★★
"Perfect hotel and nice intelligent staff, couldn’t like it more. Thanks for everything see you next year"
Stellars Samed Resort ★★★
"Loved everything from start to finish! A pleasant, clean, and comfortable hotel with a pool. Room was cleaned daily, but you need to hang the sign for service. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there are various cafes nearby. Two 7/11s are also within a 5-minute walk. Really enjoyed it!"
Samed Cabana Resort ★★★

The staff were so friendly, helpful, and made everything feel comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience!"

La Lune Beach Resort
"average for this price but our room was full of dust and sand when we move in"
Samed Grandview Resort
"The room decor was a bit outdated, and there were some unidentifiable bugs on the bed. I ended up with three big bites on my body after sleeping there. When checking in, the front desk told me that water and the drinks in the mini-bar were free, while instant noodles were chargeable. However, when checking out, the front desk said I had to pay 140 Thai Baht for two cans of Coke from the mini-bar, and that amount was deducted from my deposit. The breakfast was quite good and varied, and the restaurant is by the sea with a great view."
Samet Lucky Resort
"Everything was good, except for the air conditioning. It kept alternating between hot and cold, and the airflow was hard to adjust. The air blew directly onto my head all night, which was very uncomfortable."
Ao Cho Grandview Hideaway Resort
"Stunning environment, good breakfast, it’s quiet, relaxing and chill, suits for a chill holiday"
Ao Prao Resort
"We traveled with a rather complex group: my mother plus two children (ages 9 and 14). During our stay, we were very impressed with the high quality of service: we were met at the pier with sun umbrellas, and the housekeeping was excellent. The room was in good condition, everything was clean, and there wasn't much wear and tear. We handled meals this way: we had dinner at the restaurants (there are 3, one for each hotel), and both times it cost us around 1500 Baht for all three of us, which was comparable to what we spent in Pattaya, where we also saw a show (on Fridays). If you don't have kids, you can rent a scooter and go to the other side of the island where there's a huge selection of places to eat. For lunch, we had fruits, yogurts, salads, snacks, etc., which we bought once at 7-Eleven on the other side of the island; the round trip cost 400 Baht. Compared to Pattaya, the sea here is incredibly clean and clear – true relaxation. I was worried the journey would be difficult, but we traveled in the middle of the day when you can't do much anyway due to the heat. It was 1.5 hours from Pattaya, 2 hours to Bangkok, and then a quick 10-15 minute boat ride. The hotel has its own pier, which is cool, clean, and offers inexpensive drinks. For those who are panically afraid of lizards, snakes, and other critters, it might be best not to go to this island, as they can crawl into the room. And mosquitoes (!) – there's a fumigator and repellents in the room, but I still got bitten (though I always do; for example, the children weren't bitten). In all other respects, it was a magnificent trip, and the boat ride to the island was an attraction in itself. I plan to repeat this experience and stay for 4-5 days next time."
Le Vimarn Cottages & Spa
"This is my third time at Ao Prao Beach, and it's my favorite beach. No matter which hotel I stay at, I always make sure to come here for their Italian food. The staff even remembered us, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was also delicious. However, the ordered items arrived after we had finished eating. While tasty, the long wait was a bit disappointing. There are no toothbrushes among the room amenities, so it's best to bring your own. There were people smoking on the beach chairs, and the smoke was drifting over due to the wind. When I asked a staff member if they could smoke in the designated smoking area, the staff member pointed at me and said, 'That person is complaining about you.' I just wanted to avoid a problem and asked the staff to tell them there's a smoking area they should use. Being pointed at made me feel very uncomfortable. Other than the beach staff, everyone else was very friendly and accommodating."
Vongdeuan Resort
"Came with the kids, the environment is just average. The facilities are quite old."
The C Samet Beach Resort
When you stay at The C Samet Beach Resort in Rayong, you'll be right on the beach, just steps away from Khao Laem Ya - Mu Ko Samet National Park and Ao Wong Duan Beach. This beachside hotel is 5.6 mi (9 km) from Suan Son Beach and 1.9 mi (3 km) from Pineapple Beach.
Kala Krang Nueng
"I really liked the hotel's location; everything is close by. There was no street noise in the room, and there were no insects either. The air conditioning worked perfectly; it wasn't stuffy. The breakfasts were delicious, with a good selection. It's also convenient that you can rent a bike at the hotel."
Paradee
Treat yourself to a visit to the spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments, and facials. Soak up the sun on the private beach, or take advantage of recreational amenities like an outdoor pool and a steam room. You’ll also find extra perks at this resort, including complimentary Wi-Fi, gift shops/newsstands, and wedding services.
Urban Room Samed
"Absolutely fantastic and friendly welcome at reception. A very helpful man. I was allowed to borrow a towel because I couldn't check in yet, and they also offer scooters for rent. Very convenient. The room was also very nice, very modern and minimalist. The only thing I would have liked to see improved was the cleanliness of the room, especially the floor. It's very dirty; walking barefoot is unpleasant!"
Evelia Koh Samed
"The room was very clean and well-maintained, and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and provided great service, making the overall experience very pleasant. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and all facilities were in good condition. Overall, everything was very good and comfortable. However, one area that needs improvement is the breakfast dining area, as there were not enough seats available, and guests often had to wait for a table."
Samed Tropical Resort
Tucked away on a quiet southern bay, this tropical hideaway features bungalows with garden or sea views, making it an ideal sanctuary for travelers seeking privacy and a connection with nature.
Vimarn Samed Resort
"It is an excellent place for relaxation, the location is excellent, the view is very beautiful, the fine sand beach is very close, within a distance where the night music is not too loud. The hotel restaurant is all delicious. The hotel entrance from the drop-off point is a bit far. You should inform the staff to pick you up and help with luggage. The point that should be improved is that the room door lock is not yet tight and modern. I will definitely go back."
