Overall, the resort felt good. There were quite a few mosquitoes on the island, but the ecosystem was thriving with little squirrels around.

Overall a decent hotel. Nice pool area, very close to the sea side, located on the busy street with everything you need. The place is a bit dated, but so are the other places on the island.

Lots of mixed reviews about this place. From bed bugs, to rude staff. We didn’t experience either bed bugs or rude staff but the hotel was a bit run down. The staff were quite friendly, loved our kids and their amazement at coconuts being everywhere. Breakfast buffet was a bit underwhelming but it got the job done. It wasn’t great fit vegetarians. The rooms were fine, a villa had 2 separate rooms so had privacy but was a bit inconvenient at times but it worked. We didn’t have bed bugs and we didn’t have geckos running in our room like other reviews. We probably wouldn’t stay here again but it was a good location and we got to go out best dive Center - La Bombona so that was a plus. Nice beach views and pool

After arriving on the island, there's a free shuttle. Just look for the one with the Seashell sign. The hotel is quite large, with its own beach restaurant and bar. The room was spacious and very clean, but it seemed like there was no hot water for showering. It wasn't an issue during the day, but showering after the bar at night was a bit cold. I couldn't find a toothbrush in the room, but there was a hairdryer.

Very basic dorm with curtains only on bottom bunks, 2 toilets/showers between 14 people, WiFi also does not work in the rooms but does work everywhere else in the resort, these things are offset by having access to very nice pool, diving facilities and free breakfast and location is perfect.

Great location (just be aware, music till midnight, and one night till 2:30am) close to everything you would need. Great restaurants/places to eat and drink all around. Beaches amazing. Pickup and drop off from the pier a great service (don’t forget the 20B for the tourist tax at the pier, lot of people taken by surprise by this)

The most expensive night at Koh Tao. $26 a night for a bunk bed is not a good deal, in my opinion, but was necessary as everything else was booked. Decent bed, shower/toilets, but no bed curtains, and room not well-maintained
