Apartamenty Proeko Polonia

This was a strange experience and I cannot recommend this establishment. Let me first take the positive; location was good, the room was basic but clean and the price fairly attractive. Note that is not an hotel as such but rather an apartment for rent. We booked on their webpage with no pre-payment or credit card information required. Before arrival we received a SMS saying that they had no reception and did not accept credit card, cash only. Very unusual, to say the least. The result was a rather unusual check-in and cash payment up front. We did not receive any invoice but when we insisted, we got a hand-written receipt that I doubt will meet the requirement of our fiscal authorities. I find this unacceptable. So, if you want a clean room in a good location and are flexible on the payment/receipt issue, then this is a place.

Close to everything, the restaurants, pier, beach and shops and walking distance to the old town and river banks. The building is a bit outdated but yet good value for the price we paid. Good for quick stays.

Small and compact The room was very small and the window opened onto nextdoors balcony so had to keep shut. Gtreat location abd excelkent communication for the keys.

No good The separate balcony is transformed into common for 3. The bed slats break. Lack of service only 2 available for 3 people stipulated. No communication or difficult to have. The car park is actually that of a guest at 200m. And also smaller in real life. Only advantage to 600m on foot we are at the beach. But still way too expensive for what it is
