Wow wow wow!! I mean, we were expecting a fab holiday but we were blown away by Akti beach, on arrival we were told we had been given a free upgrade, from a double room to a maisonette... two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two wordrobes, lovely and fresh, modern, hair dryer, mini fridge, fresh towels daily, everything you could think of, air con and safe in with the room. The room was in the adult only area which had its own restaurant, bar, evening entertainment every night. But you could go into any area, And even though the season was coming to an end, and it was getting quite quiet, the hotel itself kept running second to none right up until we left (the hotel was closing the following day for end of season) the staff were lovely and friendly and so many pools to choose from. We loved the beach which literally is on your doorstep, although it is very pebbly and a little slippy, sand bags have been placed to help you get into the sea and there are lots of fish swimming around you. The hotel bus which took you into Kardamina, free of charge ran throughout the day and the village itself was typically greek and so beautiful lined with lots of bars and restaurants. We went all inclusive plus and we barely spent a thing.. proper branded drinks and food available, 24/7. Shop onsite, Thankyou Akti Beach for being amazing. We would definately recommend to anyone, there is plenty for any age or group... Enjoy your well earnt rest. Roll on next season.... xx

On arrival (which was late) to the room I was very disappointed given we had paid for a superior room. The room was dirty particularly the floor it was dusty and the bathroom was disgusting. Thankfully I travelled with antibacterial wipes and before we unpacked I wiped down everything in the room and bathroom. The toilet seat was dirty and the mould around the bath and plug hole was gross. Watermarks on the door and walls and the grime on the shower hose was also gross. The following day I spoke to reception and mentioned the room and how unclean it was but nothing happened. I travelled with my mum and my 22 month old little boy and it caused me distress everyone he went near the dirty bathroom. The bath was also badly marked and I never felt clean after using the bathroom with all the grime. The dinning room was chaotic and I found the staff in there rude. Whilst I appreciate it was nearing the end of season the staff were unhelpful. Every day when finding a table we would have to go and ask for cutlery and this seemed to annoy the staff. The food choice was good and we found something every day. The lady who cooked the omelettes/pancakes was very lovely. They often ran out of wine glasses so often had wine in a tumbler. The food trolleys they used to bring out/move food on from the kitchens were filthy. Given this was an all inclusive plus, I asked the rep what this meant and she told me 24 hour all inclusive which included international branded drinks. The only branded drinks I saw was Bailey’s and Martini. The wine is weak and the the measures for the spirits are wrong. Cocktails are premixed and majority gross but some were ok. The entertainment team worked hard and are a credit to the hotel. My little boy loved the mini disco. The shuttle bus which is free that takes you to the local town is good. I also paid €30 for a late checkout which I have been charged twice for and I have messaged them 5 times and they are denying they’ve taken the money twice despite me sending them a copy of my bank statement. We had to move rooms for this and the bathroom was slightly better but the shower hose was still not clean I. The other room. I paid £565 for the week and very glad it was no more than this.

Hotel was great and we dont regret staying there for a week. Hotel is devided for a main part and adults only area. If your main expectations are to lie on the sunbeds in silent a**osphere then the second one is for you. The rooms in „adults only” are newer but there is less green areas than in the main part. Pluses: - food - sth new everyday, good quality but there were no pita gyros or sushi as we could find in reviews before our trip - rooms were clean and the cleaning staff wanted to clean it everyday - staff was very friendly and helpful - especially ANIMATORS - they were born to work as animators :) we loved Karina, Hedi and Kevin - pools and pools areas were clean - Ayman makes the best hotel pizza Ive ever eaten Minuses: - we were told that All Inc would be available 24h - and it wasnt. For 90% of tourists its not going to be a problem cause most of people goes to sleep before 3am :) but after this hour we couldnt even get water cause they didnt have it anywhere - snackbars werent tasty, horrible snacks quality, - there is nice technology about room cleaning information, u can set inside of the room if u want to have your room cleaned or not, I had to explain it to cleaning lady cause she was waking me up for 3 days in a row (I set my room icon to „do not disturb”). If I wanted to have my room cleaned, I would have changed it to green (cleaning) icon. - there were only 2 bars open until midnight, 1 in adults only and 1 in main part of the hotel, we were in MAY and the bars were already overcrowded with big queues at about 22:00. They need to open one more bar at night or hire more barmans.

The food is meh, and there is not mutch to do. But the animation team is great, the people are nice and they do their best to make all kids feel included. Only the beds are springs and most are worn down😅. We went for one week, and if you are on the resort the whole week you will be bored, so i recommend hiring a car. All togheter, the great people of the animation team this make it all come togheter

Stayed here for 7 days 1st week June 2023. Much needed family holiday that didnt disappoint. The room we had did the job, but was fairly basic. It was clean and well maintained and equipped though. The resort had a lovely balance of being able to relax and activities, possibly a little more on the relaxing side perhaps. The animation team were great with the kids and even a few of the adult guests joined in. All the team there worked very hard to make everyone entertained. Most of the entertainment was aimed at slightly younger kids, so maybe worth bearing in mind if your child are around 13 onwards. Food was different each day but always a vast selection to choose from. Something for everyone, hot or cold. Being all inclusive, drinks were plentiful, but only the local brands, if that bothers you. Extra special praise to George on the pool bar who learned our names, what we liked to drink and always looked after us with a smile and cheery demeanour. You were ace George! Some excursions were available, but most required quite a drive by coach. The destinations were nice when we got there, but the journey was maybe a little long for some. All in all, I would return here. The staff were helpful and polite, the hotel was pleasant with good views of the surrounding hills etc. A little more nightlife or things to do in the day might be nice, but Im really nit picking a bit there. Would recommend this place for sure.

I know I am writing this review late but I have to express such a good time we had in this resort. We booked with Jet2 and our flight arrived late. We arrived at the hotel around 1-2am. The receptionist was very friendly and we were kindly shown to our room. After a 4 hour flight we were very hungry. The snack bar was open in the restaurant which was very handy for us. There was a chef making pancakes and omelettes which were very nice, alcohol and sodas on tap and nice bits and bobs. This is such a nice feature which the hotel has got perfect. Pool areas and facilities- There are 2 main pools at the resort and other scattered pools which are connected to rooms. We found that the animation pool was too busy so we opted to stay by the main pool. This was right next to our room and it was also next to the bar and main restaurant/reception area. The lifeguard manning the main pool area is very friendly and enthusiastic. This made our stay more friendly and enjoyable. The pool area itself is very clean and toilets are very near by. The animation pool is aimed more for families with children and wasn't really for us but the animation team itself are very good. They are very friendly, encouraging and inclusive to everyone. There is a snack bar by the animation pool which serves stuff like pizza, chicken and chips etc. There is two tennis courts and a football pitch. Both are in very good condition. There is a basketball court in the hotel next door (akti palace) which is connected and with me playing basketball, it was a great facility. Food- The food in the hotel is served to very high quality. It often changes every night and there is a great variety. They serve regular all inclusive food which is very nice and they also have a Chinese stand. This was a very nice feature. The drinks are on tap which we prefer as it gives you a sense of independence. Overall, I personally think that the food made our trip and we looked forward to it every time we went. All staff members were very polite and friendly but a special mention to one of the waitress Alba who was very friendly and helpful. Beach- The hotel is connected to a beach. All you have to do is cross the road. The beach has sun loungers and a boardwalk which is an nice addition to the hotel. It also gave us the feeling that we weren't trapped within a resort for a week. There is a shop near the beach which includes stuff like suncream and water toys for the pool. Kardamena is a bit of a walk away but the hotel provides a free shuttle buss. Rooms- The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. There was a nice air conditioning unit which helped us stay cool during the night. The bathroom door's lock was a bit temperamental but it still worked. Each room has a balcony and chairs which makes it a nice place to sit at night and talk or even play a game of cards. The cleaning crew are very polite and hard working. They are very helpful too. today is the last day of our stay at the hotel, we are very satisfied, everything was perfect, the excellent staff were available for anything you asked for, thank you endlessly for the exceptional welcome, I recommend you all to come and have fun in this hotel

Got home Thursday after a week here with my hubby and another couple. We were in the adults only section but found it a little quiet around the pool so spent most of our days at the animation pool. The animation team were fantastic and there were activities all through the day inc aqua Zumba, darts, archery amongst other things! There was another pool at the other side of reception which we didn’t use but looked just as good as the others. Food and drink was great, really varied and something for everyone! The Chinese station was fab! A big shout out to Ellen who made fresh omelettes at breakfast and at 2am in the morning if you wanted one! She was lovely. All of the bars were great with a good selection of drinks and spirits. The baileys iced coffees at the adult only bar were beautiful, and Maria and the other young lady who worked in the adult bar were always friendly and smiling and remembered our drinks every visit! The hotel room was cleaned daily and towels changed daily! The room was good I just didn’t understand why we had an extra single bed in there and think maybe a sofa would have been more suitable but other than that it was a lovely room with a balcony , fridge and air conditioning. On arrival in the room we got a bottle of red wine and a plate of fresh fruit. The hotel provides free Wi-Fi and a free bus into kardamena centre several times throughout the day and evening. You could get free beach towels at reception too. The private section of beach had loads of sun loungers and walkways into the sea as it was a little rocky but that was fine! The sea was so clear and the beach very clean. At the water sports hut you could have free use of both pedaloes and kayaks. This is the first time I’ve visited Greece and it was fantastic. We liked the hotel so much that we booked to go back again next year whilst sat round the pool! Highly recommend the place to anyone wanting to go to Kos!

Aktis staff are Brill But we found its too big and very busy. Restaurant we had to q most day. Good family holiday though. Went there twice. Food was ok. They had loads of puddings. And Chinese too. Which was ok Pools were ok. Family one was better. Main one. Too deep for families
