"If you appreciate smaller, service-minded boutique hotels, this place is a true find. Our double room with a private garden and sunbeds was spacious, spotless, and had great amenities—including powerful water pressure in the shower and a whisper-quiet AC. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with eggs cooked to order by the chef and strong, excellent coffee to start the day right. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—especially Cindy at the front desk, who went above and beyond with recommendations for local restaurants, excursions, and more. The location was ideal: bike rentals, a supermarket, and beautiful Mylos Beach were just minutes away. It was also an easy 10-minute bike ride to Kos Town The pool area was calm and relaxing (adults only) after the beach. Lots of sun beds & umbrellas."

"The hotel is generally ok, but we only stayed for one night because the ferry departed early in the morning. We ended up listening to songs in the tavern outside our windows until 12:20 a.m. Even with the windows closed, we could hear everything, making it very difficult for the kids to fall asleep. But the location is great!!!"

"I have stayed in many hotels, but I have never experienced such disappointing and cold customer service as at Zephyros in Kos. I am not writing this review lightly – it stems from pure frustration and disbelief at how little effort the staff made at a time when I really needed help. Due to an emergency, I had to cut my trip short. I didn't even ask for a full refund – just partial compensation for the nights I could no longer stay. A little understanding can mean so much, right? But not here. The only thing I got was a blunt “it’s in the terms and conditions.” No flexibility, no empathy, not even an attempt to think along with me. A phone call to the owner? A message to the manager? Something? Nothing. And at that point, it was no longer about money. It was about principle. If someone is in a difficult situation and you politely ask for help, you expect at least a little humanity. But I felt absolutely none of that here. As for the rest of the hotel: fine in itself, but nothing special. You really have to walk quite a distance to the center, or rent a bike – which quickly adds up in terms of costs. The rooms are okay, but the bathroom is really small and not exactly clean. You can barely turn around without bumping into something. The beds are old and low to the ground, making them far from comfortable to sleep on. But honestly? I could have accepted all of that if the customer service had been good. Hospitality isn't just about a place to sleep – it's about how you are treated when something goes wrong. And in that regard, Zephyros Hotel has completely failed. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for genuine service or a place where they still truly care about their guests. Do better. P.S. 1 power outlet for 2 people is bizarre…"
