"The Resort is a perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation . I was staying in deluxe swim up room -the room was specious ,with great view of the lagoon pool. The hygene was impeccable and the ladies from the housekeeping were always friendly and smiling. I must leave a good words for the Ionela from the Restoran , she is very hard working and her positive vibe alwyas makes you feel welcomed. The Beach is the highlight for me.Sandy, clean and relaxing ,only con is there is no toilets on the beach , so u must go up in the resort for it. Good words for Monica from the front desk always very helpful and very kind. A few cons- I was felt unwelcomed couple of times in the restorant , the waiters has forgot my order and wenn i menton it ,he even say sorry or at least smile with kidness, also there was no guest relation contact at all , to ask if everything was good or do i need something. I work as a program manager in Travel agency and I would loved to present the resort and Kos island in general to my clients- about work with groups and charter and when I ask it on frontdesk they just inform me i should write an email about it and not even try to conect me personal with reservation department. Despite this cons i would give 10/10"

Hotel Tigaki's Star

Hotel Tigaki's Star

📍 Tigaki, Tigkaki, Kos
★★★ 9.0 (39 reviews)

"We stayed at Tigaki's Star hotel for 10 days and would happily return. Hotel staff were so hard working and friendly, particularly the girls who work at breakfast service and in the bar. Food at the pool bar was very good and decent prices. Pool bar didn't have a great range of drinks which I'd say was the only negative about the hotel. Hotel grounds were lovely, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Our room, superior ground floor, was cleaned every day, clean towels provided any time you needed them, bedding changed couple of times a week too. Room wasn't huge but was fine for sleeping and getting quick change before heading out. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. Pool was a decent size and is pretty deep but there was also a baby pool. Hotel is a couple of minutes walk to main strip where there are lots of lovely restaurants and a few bars. We really enjoyed our time at Tigaki's Star and would happily return to the same hotel (something we usually don't do)."

"Just back (30 May) from BLCH. With over 50 years of travel and more recently, the higher end of the star rating, BLCH is the best – hotel, location and staff. The hotel is pristine clean and so well-furnished and is as stated only a five-minute stroll to the harbour and old town. Beds at the pool are not reserved and mostly available and if taken, they do come available quickly – like a graceful musical chairs!!! The food at the pool bar is varied and off a high standard (Thank you Marios and man in black). Breakfast buffet will suit all dietary needs and eggs cooked to your specific requirements, coffee served throughout and no additional request too difficult for the team. The staff make this already great hotel amazing and that is so obvious within the first day. Their laugh/comradery is infectious (no grumpy guys on this team) and again nothing to much trouble and they go way beyond their brief (lady having problems with umbrella, Alberto runs from behind the bar to help) PS Alberto makes a better Daiquiri than the El Floridita, Havana!! Margarita & Joanna keep us up to date and laughing through the day and Michael and Geri at night – always so eager to answer every query to the full – their local knowledge you cannot find in a travel book. Also a big thanks to the background staff we didn’t see. Dimitra is always there somewhere backing every member of staff and again helping whenever needed We will not forget this hotel or more specific the staff and hopefully will return with no apprehension and knowledge we are in the hands of true hospitality experts, Thank you all so much for such a grand week – you made us smile at every transaction of every day. Mitsis Family Village

Mitsis Family Village

📍 Kardamaina, Kos
★★★★ 8.8 (59 reviews)

"This was our second time in a mitsis hotel and i’ve got to say i really rate them as a company. This hotel in particular is by far one of the friendliest i have ever been to, with special shoutout to Brenda, Elona, Thannis (i think this was how it was spelt) and another fantastic waitress who i fully can’t remember the name of. Travelling with an 11 month old and all the waitresses were besotted with her and were just so helpful. So a big thank you to ALL of the wait staff. The food we thought was really good, mainly lunch and dinners but we never struggled to find something for each of us. The cold pasta salads were always a hit and i always found something my fussy baby would eat. The pizzas, the meats, (so british to say this) but the chips are genuinely some of the best we’ve ever had 😅 The rooms are dated but the beds are so comfy, and the space you have in those rooms is like no other, our girl had a wonderful time crawling in so much air conned space. We had a couple of minor issues with the room, but one conversation with reception and they were fixed within the hour. One minor complaint with the stocked minibar is it would be nice if there were 2 of everything minus the water. Yes there’s an all inclusive bar a short walk away but it would be nice for both adults to have a can of something ice cold on hand. The hotel itself is truly beautiful and the views really are unmatched. The hills are intense but we walked up and down to the beach a few times as they’re perfect nap walks for a baby! As others have said there’s a little shuttle that runs up and down to the beach which is a nice to know incase you need it. The pool area is lovely and the entertainment programme day and night is fab. There’s things like bingo and quizzes on on alternate days, aqua aerobics, pilates, darts.. i don’t know what more people would want in the day? They’re on often enough but not in your face all day long. The kids disco is so much fun every night and then the adult entertainment was always really good fun. My one main complaint/feedback, which i think would sort a lot of peoples out who complain for those with mobility issues is little ramps could be added to/from the main reception building to the main bar seating area/walkway to rooms and same if just one ramp could be added down to the actual pool level as it was quite difficult carrying a sleeping baby in the pram up and down, and would always require both adults to be on hand.. and in the same breath. Our room, whilst fantastic for us and the views, was up 2 sets of steps. Maybe if you can see in booking notes that a family has a young child, don’t make them go up 2 sets of stairs Overall i would recommend this hotel to all, especially those with younger children, quite literally everyone is friendly, the views are fantastic and you will always find something you’ll eat, unless your diet is just chicken nuggets. Thank you for a wonderful family holiday, please add a ramp though!"

📍 Kardamaina, Kos
★★★ 7.7 (48 reviews)

"The hotel is typical of the cheaper end of Greek accommodation. The staff are pleasant and friendly, but unfortunately the noise levels throughout the hotel make it very difficult to relax and get a decent sleep. Because the corridors have hard surfaces with no sound proofing, every sound seems to be amplified. You can hear people walking past your room, just having a normal conversation from the corridor, not to mention the people who are louder and have had a drink, and footsteps from one end of the building to the other you seriously can hear everything. The noise echoes throughout the hotel.  If you’re hoping for a holiday where you can enjoy a lie-in, this probably isn’t the hotel for you. The cleaning staff start early and are extremely loud. Their conversations and laughing echo through the corridors, and the walkie-talkies they use constantly beep again echoing through the entire building. Once breakfast starts and the cleaning staff arrive at 6:30am, any chance of further sleep is pretty much over, as the sound of plates, glasses, cutlery and people chatting in the dining room carries throughout the building. What I found particularly frustrating was the lack of consideration regarding room cleaning. We arrived late due to our late flight and didn’t get to bed until around 2am. Despite this, housekeeping still arrived at 8am to clean our room. We’d only been in the room and asleep for around six hours after a full day of travelling. It would seem more practical and considerate to schedule guests who arrive in the early hours to clean last.  The housekeeping schedule also felt poorly organised. Our bedding was changed on day six of our 7 day stay, fresh clean bedding despite us having only one night remaining. It seemed an unnecessary use of resources when we were due to leave the following morning. To be fair, if you’re an early riser, don’t mind noise, and are happy to be awake from around 6am onwards, then this hotel may suit you perfectly. However, if you’re looking for a restful holiday where you can occasionally sleep in until 8:30 or 9:30am instead of your usual 6am work wake up call, I would suggest looking elsewhere."

Koia All - Suite Well Being Resort - Adults Only

"Wow, what an amazing place. My husband and I have just returned from a blissful week at Koia Hotel, and it was absolutely fabulous. We stayed in a suite with a private pool, which was beautiful. The room was very well equipped, with a lovely patio area for dining and, of course, the stunning pool. The outstanding feature of this hotel, however, is its staff. I have been fortunate enough to stay in some incredible hotels around the world, including Four Seasons properties, but the service here is the best I have ever experienced. Everyone is so warm, friendly and genuinely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone remembers your name, and they truly make you feel special. A special mention to Alex in the restaurant, Maria, who hosted an amazing wine tasting experience, and the two wonderful therapists in the spa (I'm so sorry I can't remember your names!). You were all incredible and helped make our stay so memorable. The food is fantastic, the spa treatments are wonderful, and the experiences they offer are excellent. The wine tasting and floating breakfast were particular highlights and felt like real treats. There is also a private beach area about a 10-minute walk away, with a golf buggy service available for the return journey up the hill. We actually didn't spend any time there because we couldn't bring ourselves to leave the beautiful resort. The beach itself is pebbly and close to the road, so for us the resort was the real star of the show. I am struggling to find any negatives. The only minor point is that the spa robes could be a little larger, as they seem to be designed for very petite guests! Other than that, everything was exceptional. If you are looking for pure relaxation in a luxury adults-only resort, this is the place for you. If you're looking for a high-energy holiday packed with activities, then it may not be the right fit. We will absolutely be back."

"Staff were very friendly and resort was amazing. Staff organised a birthday cake with candles and a letter for my sister without being made previously aware of the birthday. We asked for dinner recommendations for her birthday and came back to find birthday cake and card. Great selection of food and restaurants with ample sunbeds around the pools and beach for tanning. We had a late flight so staff collected our luggage from rooms and stored safely, allowing us to continue using the resort facilities. Also able to shower and freshen up in the departures lounge before heading to the airport. Overall great experience, would definitely go back."

"From the moment we walked in late at night due to a flight delay, we were greeted by steve the night reception, what a friendly guy. Room and entire hotel was kept spotlessly clean, very modern inside. Pool and poolbar were great, pool not overcrowded, plenty of beds, young lads working round the tables and pool were so helpful and polite, great range of food and drink, I'm trying to find anything negative to say, but I can't, if you stay here you will have a great holiday."

Alexandra Beach Hotels in Kos

Alexandra Beach

"We spent two weeks there (September, October 2024). The hotel is very well located. Quiet place. Very clean. The service is very polite and helpful. The hotel has two drawbacks. The first drawback is the breakfasts. For two weeks, the very poor menu has not changed. I recommend taking this hotel, but without breakfast. Opposite the hotel there is a supermarket where you can buy fresh local products for breakfast. The second drawback is the lighting. The light bulbs are so weak that reading is out of the question. Once you are there, use the services of the company "Kos adventures". I used their services when ordering a car. The car was delivered to the hotel in half an hour. In addition, we received a large dose of information on where, what to see, and what to visit. Kos Adventures also organizes trips around the island. Speaking of food. Near the hotel (150 m) there is the Mavromatis tavern. Great food, as well as the service - we saved ourselves with breakfast there."

Natura Park Village Hotel & Spa Hotels in Kos

Natura Park Village Hotel & Spa

"We recently stayed at Natura Park Hotel and found it to be a mixed experience. The hotel buildings themselves are attractive, the pool is a good size and kept clean, and the rooms are spacious. Our room had a lovely vaulted ceiling, a fan for those who prefer not to use air conditioning, and a large balcony. Unfortunately, the balcony lacked enough furniture to really make the most of the space. One of the biggest concerns was the lack of allergen labelling in the buffet restaurant. As someone who requires a gluten-free diet, I was surprised that none of the buffet items were labelled with allergen information. This is something that hotels should take very seriously, as guests need to be able to make informed and safe food choices. Despite informing staff of my dietary requirements, I was given a plate containing sandwiches and a muffin on a late night arrival, neither of which were suitable. I would strongly encourage the hotel to implement clear allergen labelling throughout the buffet as a matter of priority rather than just saying to the team each time what’s safe and not as this can always create a sense of nervousness. Other issues included the Wi-Fi, which was virtually non-existent during our stay and appeared to be unsecured, so make sure you have plenty of mobile data available. The hotel entrance could also do with some attention, with a broken-down car visible in the field opposite the property, which doesn’t create the best first impression. There was little to no music around the pool area making the atmosphere feel a little flat at times. The resort itself is very quiet, which may suit some travellers, although there isn’t much to do nearby with music put on each evening but can be extremely loud if you are hoping for an early night. Access to the beach is easy, which is a definite positive. We also found the local bus service unreliable, as a scheduled bus into town never arrived. Overall, the food and drinks were about what we expected, and there are certainly positive aspects to the hotel. However, due to the issues mentioned above, particularly the lack of allergen information and the handling of dietary requirements, we would rate this hotel closer to a 4-star property than the advertised 5 stars."

"We made a reservation for two days and when we wanted to extend our trip, we wanted a double bed for the second day and paid through Trip com. However, they combined two single beds into the room given to us and accepted the room as a double room. I reported this to Trip com and they gave me bonus points. That's why we didn't like the room of the second day at all. The extra charge for the gym is also a disadvantage. TV channels are very limited. The breakfast was very nice, with plenty of options and delicious."

"We decided on this hotel after visiting Tigaki last year an walking through the grounds. We booked a superior room as we wanted a decent bathroom with a proper shower cubicle. That’s what we got. Room clean, comfy and great for us. The room as a small fridge, kettle and mugs. You need to bring your pool/ beach towel. Breakfast if a Greek feast. BUT the smoking during breakfast is awful. People with no respect for others. Hotel needs to look at this. Pool is great. Nice and quiet. Comfy sun-beds with mattresses. Pool bar is lovely at sunset. Definitely worth a drink before venturing out. Easy walk to beach and bars and restaurants."

"This accommodation is an excellent choice, located right in the city center with easy access to everything. The bed is comfortable, and if you book a room with a balcony, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of both the city and the sea. The staff are kind and very accommodating, making the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast is satisfying, offering a good English breakfast. Rooms are clean with a strong shower, even on the fourth floor, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The place also embraces sustainability, providing basic but pleasant-smelling toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. Overall, it’s a fantastic stay — I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to others."

"We recently stayed at this hotel and it was a wonderful holiday from start to finish. The accommodation is very good, we had a room with a pool-view, and it included everything we could have needed. The staff make the difference from other hotels we have stayed at. The reception staff, the dining room staff, especially Margarita and Olena, and the cleaning staff, everyone is so friendly and full of smiles all the time. The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the harbour so is easily accessible for most people. We would recommend the nearby restaurant, Broadway, which we went to twice during our stay. The choice of meals on the menu was very good and again, the staff were very friendly."

"Stayed at Kris Mari for 1 week as a family of 3 and had a great week. Hotel was clean, rooms was cleaned with fresh bedding / towels everyday, staff were lovely and friendly, breakfast was basic but nice. Ate at the pool bar for lunch which was lovely (photo included). Only thing that does need looking at is the pool, it was not as dirty as other reviews had said so obviously some stuff has been rectified, but it is clear the filter system does not work and the tiles do need a good scrub - you can use the other 2 sister hotel pools which are absolutely fine. That being said, had a great stay and would come again. Kardamena is the most beautiful island with amazing people!"
