I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 pm after a long journey - I was greeted with information that the system was down and it was not possible to check me into the room I booked and that I had to wait in the bar area. Fortunately, the complications did not last long, otherwise it would be reasonable to offer at least a glass of water while waiting for the problem to be solved. However, this is a detail compared to the point: in the room I had no way to turn off the fan, which was so loud that I couldn't sleep. I reported the problem at the reception the next day and asked to turn off the fan - I received information that at the moment there is no such possibility, because the person responsible and able to do it is currently not at work. As a solution, I was offered earplugs, which are very uncomfortable for me to sleep in, but as they say ”better than nothing”. I was hoping for a shade of relaxation during my two-day stay, and as a result I left the hotel with a headache. Two nights of sleep deprivation, annoying ”humming” of the fan in the room and the inability to open the window = drama.

I would highly recommend Niebieski Hotel to my friends and family. People who work in this hotel are welcoming, helpful and professional. All the emails with my questions regarding reservation were responded quickly. Rooms are spaciaus. The style of the rooms is very cozy (a lot of beutiful blue details). All meals in the Niebieski are very delicious. Spa treatments are very good. One of the most customer friendly places I ever visited.

We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. Comfortable bed and well-appointed room, a good three-night stay in a pleasant area. At breakfast, the plate clearers would do well to exercise a little more precaution and not clear away a place setting so soon when one goes to toast bread or queue for the coffee machine.

The hotel is beautiful perfectly situated for the main market square and all other attractions, the room was so clean and well equipped and staff were very friendly. The whole hotel is clean and well maintained and breakfast was also very nice we will definitely be back

Near the Krakow train station and bus station (that one can catch the buses to Auschwitz Concentration Camp) which can be accessed through the tunnel near the hotel. There are 2 Ibis brands side by side which you can go thru the door of one to get to the other hotel ( instead of going round the building).

Choosed the hotel based on price and location. Modern rooms, clean, fantastic breakfast, professional staff. Not used to have constant humming from heating/ventilation system. Not enough parking space on the public parking place, however Hotel has own small parking. I will definitetly consider staying there during next trip.

As hostels go, this was a good, clean, well organised place and we felt safe. We booked a twin room with private bathroom. The shower was ok, bathroom clean. Comfy beds, small hand towl each. The only reason i gave 4 stars and not 5 is because when we arrived, our room had a very bad smell iof sewerage. We had to leave the bathroom fan on all the time. We couldn't leave the window open as it was too cold. The kitchen was always very busy, and we were there out of high season. We only used it to make a few hot drinks but it looked clean. The fridges were full of peoples food, not sure there would have been any room for ours if we had wanted to use it. Would stay here again.

The reception at the front desk is still very good, but the facilities are really unsatisfactory: The basin and drain in the toilet were broken, and the water was everywhere after taking a shower, even soaking the carpet outside the door. There is no kettle in the room, hot water can only be picked up in the kitchen downstairs. Others are okay, maybe the above is an accidental situation.
