Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Centre, an IHG Hotel

Pros: The room was clean and tidy. Downstairs, there's a local coffee shop ☕️, McDonald's, Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, and a FamilyMart, making the location fantastic. It's also very close to Pavilion, the biggest mall in the area, and only a ten-minute walk to Alor Street Night Market. Cons: The room is small, and the breakfast is more Western-style. There's motorbike noise from the street at night, so if you're a light sleeper, be sure to choose a quieter room type.

The hotel is in a great location in KLCC, surrounded by many high-end hotels, but this one is considered a budget-friendly option in the city center. The rooms are quite small; even though I booked a more spacious room, it shared a door with the adjacent room, so the soundproofing was very poor. I could clearly hear motorcycles from downstairs at night. If you need a quiet environment for sleeping, you might want to reconsider this hotel.

The water pressure in the room was excellent, and there were plenty of conveniently located power outlets. With multiple elevators, we barely had to wait. Downstairs, there's a ZUS Coffee, a popular Malaysian coffee chain, and the location is great. Taxis respond quickly, and it was just the right distance to walk back from Sky51 at night. It's a shame we only stayed one night. Special shout-out to the front desk lady working on the morning of August 25th – she was incredibly friendly and kind, making our service experience truly exceptional!

The hotel is in the city center, very close to Pavilion Mall – less than a 10-minute walk. The subway station is even closer, and you can even walk to the night market in the evenings, making transportation incredibly convenient. The only downsides are that the room and bed are quite small, similar to what you'd find in Hong Kong or Japan. However, its prime location for getting around really makes up for it. Plus, there's a FamilyMart, a local coffee shop, and even a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea downstairs! 😂 So, overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

The hotel is very close to the Twin Towers, just a 15-minute walk. The subway is also nearby. It's not far to walk to Merdeka Square and Chinatown. The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options. There's a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea right outside, and you absolutely have to try a drink – the prices are the same as in China.
