Such a great place! The hotel is well located for the price, only 10-15 walk to the City Center. My room was clean and the beds were good. I also had a nice view of the coty as well as the Kyoto Tower

It’s a decent stay, it’s on a Main Street so bound to have noises from ambulances because of the very close by fire station. The beds are comfortable and so is the couch. Room is spacious, carpet could definitely use a deep clean or be replaced with wood flooring. The WiFi is absolutely HORRIBLE thankfully when I voiced my complaint they had a portable wifi on hand to distribute. This place does have luggage storage

Good if you want a quiter place, but it is quite far from a majority of popular tourist places. Be prepared for long walks.

It's about a three or four block walk from Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. The service was excellent. There's a small soaking tub, but I couldn't figure out how to use the curtains to block the sun. The tatami room itself was quite spacious.

There was a constant noise of water running through the pipes in my room, day and night. Also, the hotel is located on a major road and so being in a room near the street was very noisy. The staff at the front desk were not helpful - they didn't seem to know about public transportation, unable to provide directions, even with using Google translate. During my stay my cell phone was not working and I had to make an international collect call and was told it was not possible to make international calls from the hotel phones. I went to a nearby hotel and they were very accommodating and willing to help me.

This hotel is extremely clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Cleaning takes place every other day for ecological reasons, but every day you will receive clean towels and toiletries. An aperitif is offered to all guests in the evening. Mangas and a microwave are available in the call in case you buy take-away food. I had my luggage delivered in advance and they kept it until I arrived. The room is much larger than one would expect in Japan. Unfortunately, the Onsen is very small and I don't get a chance to fully enjoy it as the times to use it are also inconvenient. This is the only small shortcoming.

Great location right at the foot of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and convenient for taking the Keihan train. The room was clean and spacious, very nice.
