Thoroughly enjoyed the serene escape. The hotel's facilities seamlessly blend with the natural environment, making for a truly relaxing stay. The staff lived up to Aman's standards – proactive, warm, and always remembered guests' names. Both the Japanese omakase and the Western dinner, as well as breakfast, were of high quality. The private onsen at the spa was a highlight, especially during sunrise.

This hotel, a secluded gem, is a complete contrast to the Tokyo Aman. It's perfect for introverts, with very few rooms and not many guests, making it ideal for unwinding. The hotel offers plenty of activities, and the views are absolutely stunning. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very quiet and secluded, with its own small forest, perfect for a relaxing stroll after dinner. Even though it was late in the autumn foliage season, the maple leaf atmosphere was still present. It's a pity the red leaves outside our room window were a bit sparse. The service was excellent, and they even delivered different desserts every evening. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and the snow crab kaiseki dinner was truly delicious. It's a great place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay.

Aman Kyoto gave me a feeling of calm and tranquility. I received lovely little surprises like complimentary snacks and champagne from the hotel. The Japanese cuisine at Taka-an is definitely worth trying – it's exquisite and absolutely delicious.

The most beautiful secret garden, the whole vibe is quiet and meditative. Although the hotel isn't huge, it has a strong wild, mountaintop feel, and the air is incredibly fresh. The service is absolutely exceptional. From breakfast and afternoon tea/wine to the matcha time at the Tea House, everyone patiently explains each ingredient. I particularly recommend dinner at the Aman restaurant; each chef has a unique touch and puts their heart into every dish. It's a perfect blend of culinary excellence and service spirit.

The hotel environment is beautiful and very zen, nestled within a forest. When you open the room curtains, you're greeted with a view of the woods. There are many activities to choose from at the hotel, and breakfast is incredibly rich and varied.

The hotel service was exceptionally good. I left something behind, and they delivered it to my new hotel first thing in the morning the next day.

I contacted several places to find a great place to stay in Kyoto, and the Aman Kyoto Hotel was the best recommendation. I was particularly impressed by the dedicated service provided by the hotel staff.

I went to Aman Kyoto with high expectations, but was greatly disappointed. The hotel is in a narrow mountain stream, with some trees in front of the guest rooms. There is a stream that is about to dry up behind. The room area is very small. The rooms on the first floor can be opened to the outside, but there are trees and rocks outside. The rooms on the second floor can only look at the trees at the door. The room design is old, the wood bathtub is black, and one day it broke and could not be filled with water. What is more incomprehensible is that the hotel's sheets are very old and have a hole. The bedding has not been changed for three days, and I have lived with the holed sheets for three days. Some people are polite and warm in service attitude, but some are stiff in attitude. The most terrible thing is the hotel's dry cleaning service. The hotel does not have its own laundry room, and it outsources the laundry. The clothes cannot be washed clean at all. I said that it was not washed clean. A man in the hotel said: The laundry room has been cooperating for many years and it has always been like this. If it is washed clean, it will damage the clothes. I wiped the stain with the hotel's water and a small toothbrush dipped in soap in front of the male waiter, and the stain disappeared immediately. But the waiter said that the dry cleaner cannot use water and a small toothbrush, so it cannot be washed clean. After returning to China, I sent the clothes to the dry cleaner again, and all the stains were cleaned. Pros: The hotel breakfast tasted good, but the cooking methods were almost the same every day, and only the fish species were adjusted. Experienced Aman: Beijing, Shanghai and Kyoto, the best one is Shanghai, with picturesque scenery, warm service, small animals and children to play with, and a good restaurant Beijing's rooms also feel average, and the service is much worse than Shanghai. One thing is that there is a small door to go to the Summer Palace for a morning run 🏃 In recent years, the hotels that feel better are Shanghai Aman and Beijing Mandarin Oriental Shanghai Bulgari's room has a sewer smell, and the breakfast is also extremely unpalatable

Located in the northwest of Kyoto, on a mountain near the famous Kinkakuji Temple, it is very quiet. The Japanese food at the entrance of the hotel is extremely exquisite, both in terms of food and tableware. After each dish is served, the waiter will explain it in detail, which is very important for foreign guests. The hotel environment is superb, very suitable for strolling and thinking. There is also an easter egg. When I went out to book a hotel car, I didn’t see the bill when I checked out. I found out that it was free after a special reminder. It was quite unexpected. Turn left when you go out of the hotel, and you will reach Yingfeng in less than 10 minutes. There are several small temples. It is not well-known, but it is extremely quiet, especially suitable for people who like quietness.

We booked 3 rooms, 5 big and 1 small. It snowed in Kyoto on the second day of our stay, which was quite special. Although it was during the Spring Festival, the whole hotel was very quiet. It was built on the Dawen Mountain. The rooms were minimalist and the facilities were first-class The service was very thoughtful. I felt that I was "being watched all the time". I was notified to clean the house as soon as I went out. But one night when I went back, I guess they didn't expect us to come back early. A cleaning agent was left in one of the rooms. They knew that there were children staying, and they specially prepared children's story books. The breakfast was a set meal. Japannese cuisine is also more suitable for Chinese people, but the quantity is a bit too large. Finally, when we checked out, Aman, who knew that we were going to Tokyo, helped us contact the pick-up service.

As a noble among hotels, this price certainly makes us expect a lot. The selling point of Aman Kyoto is the garden. I think this is also very good in the hotel environment all over the world. The environment is very beautiful and the air is fresh. It is very comfortable to stay in the hotel without going anywhere. It is suitable for vacation. It would be a pity to visit tourist attractions. But compared to the garden, what impressed me most was the service. I used to think that the services of five-star hotels were similar, but when I saw the staff here, I really felt that they put the service awareness into their hearts. They didn't say no to any of our requests throughout the whole process. For our living habits, they would remember and prepare what we needed every day. The staff's English is much better overall, and they can communicate in English without any obstacles. We didn't want to waste the breakfast bread, so we asked the staff if we could pack it up and waited for a long time. What we got was a bag of bread that was sealed in plastic and put in a paper bag. What shocked me most was that after we arrived at the next hotel, the staff of this hotel told us that Aman contacted them and asked them to prepare to receive us. We thought about it carefully, and the only possibility was that they asked them to call a taxi, and they knew we were coming here to stay. This detail really touched us. The disadvantage is that the transportation is very inconvenient. After all, it is in the mountains, so there is such a good view. The room facilities are just ordinary five-star standards. There is no private hot spring and no gym in the whole hotel. In general, the price is very expensive, but my family said that they are still willing to experience it if they have the opportunity. Staying in the hotel and enjoying the meticulous, home-like service and beautiful scenery is luxury enough.

The best choice for a trip to Kyoto is to stay at the Aman Kyoto that I have always dreamed of. The Aman Hotel is hidden in a quiet forest, surrounded by greenery and a tranquil Zen atmosphere. This time I stayed in the Nara room. The room was very new. The large floor-to-ceiling windows on the first floor provided great lighting. The sunlight shone through the window into the room, and the hurried trip slowed down. The most unforgettable thing was the smiling faces and warm and thoughtful service of every staff member during the stay! This time, I made an appointment for two days of dinner and afternoon tea in advance, both at the Living Pavilion. All the staff in the restaurant were very polite and the service was impeccable. The dishes were very delicate and delicious. Next time I come, I will try Takaan. It was a great stay experience. I will come in autumn next time!
