It's 3 kilometers away from Kyoto Train Station. I always walk to the train station. Then taking the bus is more convenient than the subway. It's only a 10-minute walk to Gion. I went to Fushimi Inari Taisha and walked back to the hotel directly. By the way, I enjoyed the scenery on the way. Then, opposite the hotel is a Michelin one-star Tonkatsu Ramen. On the left is a supermarket where locals buy vegetables. On the right is a 24-hour fresco. There is also a curry shop opposite. Anyway, everything is close. Although the room is not big, it is clean and tidy. All kinds of small items needed for life are provided. The hotel lobby provides various coffee, tea, and drinks for free. There are also various travel-sized equipment. Except for disposable toothbrushes, you have to bring your own. I like the bathroom the most. The Japanese toilet and shower are really amazing. The water is big and it feels so good after washing. The front desk speaks very good English. Check-in is very convenient. There is also a smoking room. I originally booked only two nights and paid extra to stay for one more night. I still think it's worth it. Recommended!
