Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kyoto-Kiyomizu Gojo

The room was great, and the front desk staff even gave me a larger room, which I really appreciated! The check-in experience was excellent. Although there were people speeding down the road on loud motorcycles in the middle of the night, overall it was still very good.

Ms. Sakai arranged a room with an amazing view for me, thanks a lot, haha! The only issue was the housekeeping lady knocking on the door so aggressively, she practically scared me awake. Everything else was fine. It would be even better if they could add a water dispenser or bottled water. All in all, I had a great time in Kyoto, haha!

This is my second time booking this hotel, and its location is fantastic. It's right by the Kamo River, next to Gojo Bridge, and just about a 10-15 minute walk from Kyoto's busiest area, Shijo Street, near Gion. The train station is also about the same walking distance. The hotel is very clean and convenient, and they even provide all the toiletries and skincare products, which is a nice touch.

The room was clean and quiet, and the front desk even upgraded our room. Toiletries can be picked up in the lobby on the first floor, and the conditioner was great. The breakfast buffet was excellent value for money, we always left full and ready to start our day.

This is a great hotel, conveniently located near the station and attractions. You can reach Kyoto Station and the surrounding commercial areas within 20 minutes. My only minor complaint is that when I opened the window, all I saw was a staircase instead of an outside view, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, everything else was perfect.
