Dreams Guest House

Stayed here for two nights whilst traveling Italy, this place is absolutely fantastic, rooms are very modern very clean and the aircon is excellent, smart tv also n room and the pool area is absolutely amazing, owners are very nice people who are very helpful with anything that’s needed, small carpark across the street and there’s on street parking outside also, very nice property in general with stunning views of the city and sea

It was way to far from any good dinning area. Parking is hit and miss. The room itself was really nice.

The location is beautiful, away from the hustle of the town but overlooking the harbour and beautiful countryside and mountains Clean modern and set in beautiful garden The hotel owners took me under their wing when I was stranded in La Spezia , . Originally on a cruise but out a shaker as husband very unwell . They do more for me than the Cruise ship company ! Wonderful home made breakfast. If you are in La Spezia this is the accommodation to make your stay perfect !

The location is hopeless it’s isolated there is nothing of interest around; we ended up doing take away 3 out of 5 nights. Parking is a nightmare unless you pay an overcharged price of 25€ per night. The same goes with the breakfast 18€ pr. a person is overpriced, and they know it as there are no options around. The room was clean, and the staff seemed nice, but not very accommodating to requests to make life a bit easier every request was declined, apart from a few glasses for our room for us to enjoy a glass of wine. You have to juggle four keys to gain access to the pool and breakfast area; there is no option to borrow towels for the pool, so we had to go and buy some from the local commercial center. I don’t know what is going on around the pool area both my wife and I got bitten by small insects, leaving areas of itching around our legs/feet (only happen after using the pool) They charge a premium price, but there were too many little things that make this stay annoying and not a good fit for us. We ended up leaving one day earlier as this was NOT our dream guest house

Nice hotel but limited restaurants around the hotel

The positives: - Magnificent view from the public terrace/pool area - Well maintained public terrace/pool area - Good air conditioning - Charming balcony The attention points: - Furniture in the room somewhat aged; no extra set of pillows; not the most comfortable mattress - No towels available at the pool and no possibility to get an extra set of regular towels - Terrible parking facilities in the narrow streets - Our room was published as sea view however the room itself has a view of the adjacent building and the mountains; only on the small (yet charming) balcony there’s a lateral sea view so quite misleading in the advertisement - When we arrived, works were going on on the terrace - Not the fault of the guest house yet when we arrived back at midnight another guest had parked his car in front of our parking space that we had paid for: it just underlines the problem with parking that could be notified better - At departure, no enquiry how was our stay: probably also because of the language barrier (no English whatsoever which is quite surprising at this day and age and when exploiting a guesthouse); there was a reference to the issue with the parking space yet more blaming the guest who did it (and other guests as apparently the guesthouse is receiving a lot of guests who allegedly have no manners) - All in all over priced for the experience

The property was clean but the guy was not pleasant we booked a king bed with a sofa he would not want to give us extra sheets and after he gave it to us we had to put the sheets on ourselves we got there late at night and the area seemed scary he charged us extra &75 for the sheets he gave us and wanted us to leave at 10:00 am check out time. There was a lot of steps and the guy didn’t want to bring the heavy language up I had to tell him 4 times to do it very rode
