The room was beautiful but the Wifi hardly worked and the knob to the shower fell off. Other than that it was very cozy and the bed was super comfortable

The sink area in the room was falling apart. Our room we booked was not available so we got a different room and in that room the TV did not work.

I didn't stay there. There was a phone number taped to the office door. When I called it, they said they moved me to the HOJO's in the village. That was fine.

Very musty and sticky, room needs to be aired out. Beds were stiff, there was a wet rag leftover from previous night I assume. Sink counter is lifting, likely water damage underneath and it smells

The rooms needed updated. They were dark and dingy looking. TV Cable did not work.

Check in was great. Once at cabin could not believe how run down room was. Bed sinks to floor and sounds loud when moving on it. Sink in bathroom almost coming off wall. Shower knob come right off the wall. TV does not work. Air conditioner was filthy so if using blowing dirty air. Bathroom is so small a large person could not use. Room smells bad. Better off pitching a tent.

Motel is very close to all stores and lake george is down the street 2 miles. Our housekeeper was very friendly. Stayed 2 days with family of 5. Great stay if u want to he close to the lake with a friendly budget. Will definitely stay again. Also pool will be opened 2024.

Positive: It was a place to sleep and wasn’t filthy Negative: We tried calling multiple times because we anticipated getting there after 10pm which is after the front desk closes according to check in requirements. Every single time we called they had network connectivity issues so we couldn’t get through. We emailed them and no one answered so it became a very stressful situation and we ultimately ended up changing our original plans and going straight there and missing the fist 1/2 hour of the concert we were going to so we would at least be able to check in. When we get back from the concert the lock didn’t work and we spent 10 minutes trying to get into our room. Many outlets didn’t work, there was no pool. It was just a place to stay for the night so it was fine but I wouldn’t want to stay there for any extended period of time

Owners were very nice and helpful. Cabin very clean and cute. Pool not available and we were not advised of this prior to check in.

It was great for a one night stay, although there are people living on the property that state you down when driving in and they have children that just run around unattended. We almost hit one on our way out while, what I’m assuming was the mother, watched.

When we booked the room it said it had a pool when I checked in found out there wasn’t a pool. The door for the joining rooms did not lock

Pool was closed, bathroom was dirty, shower faucet leaked, air conditioner was under the window behind the shades, sheets had stains, used hair tye in the sink, trash on the floor

I really enjoyed my stay at the Countryside Inn. The manager was very nice and professional. He was able to help me out with any question that I had. The rooms were clean. I would stay there again.

it was not very pleasant... we were coming back from lake placid and it was 10 PM, we got the call from the owner when we will be reaching - but we missed this spot as there was no adequate light at the entrance so be careful about that seems, the owner just acquired this property, and its still in transition mode. We got cabin # 5 - Yes, it's not your typical motel/hotel, they have single cabins, and joint cabins (See the pic). we entered, it's a small cabin, and though it looks new it was not, you can see they have used old parts like a gate and all. it was 1030 PM and there was no single toiletries stuff in the room, upon asking- they said we forgot! The bed was wobbly, it wasn't sturdy for sure- of course- we did not get much sleep. The big no from me was its bathroom - cramped space, you can't even use the toilet properly, there is no tub and the only option is the shower and it's a joke. I am 5'10" and due to cramped space, water was only reachable to my face, that's it, shower head was not moving at all and I was afraid if I force the shower head to move down, it will break. when returning the keys, they were so casual - yes sir, we are working on it. - "No sir, I don't care, if I am paying bucks, I need service" why i am making a fuss, cause we paid $140 for this 'not so good' cabin. The only good thing was the morning scene when it was raining - it was looking beautiful. hope they improve their service.
