Crowne Plaza Lake Placid Reviews

This is a best hotel in the Olympic village which is located near the Placid lake. We have a great time and the views are very beautiful that can compare with any place in Switzerland.

We had a great stay and everything was perfect .. the only thing that would make it better is if you had a spa

It feels like the best hotel in the town. The classical decoration, the size of the hotel, and the Christmas decorations in every corner of the interior all make people feel happy! The only drawback is that the internal facilities in the room are a bit old and I hope they can be renovated. The small town of Lake Placid is so beautiful when it snows in winter. I will stay here for vacation in the future!

Clean and tidy, faster and better

It's a great property. Holds on to it's old charm but it is modernized as needed. Everyone and everything was great.

Absolutely love this place. Such a beautiful town. This hotel puts you right within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable and the pool/spa was so nice. We will return next winter for sure

Sadly our hotel stay was not what we thought. People and service was great. So nice and accommodating. Hotel room not good. No hot water, toilet broke. We never complained but should have.

When we turned on the room heater it really stank like burnt hair. Other than that it was great.

Nice outside views lobby nice and coffee maker and free drinks in lobby was nice. No enforcement of conduct code,unsupervised children at night in halls, adults drinking to excess,broken lock on door at south entrance.

Lovely place with a wonderful view. Great location. Clean. Onsite restaurant was very good. Enjoyed two meals there.

Great stay. Only negative was the pool/hot tub area. It was way over capacity and kinda gross (likely due to the hockey tournament happening). But other than that the stay was great!

Overall a nice 1-day trip to Lake Placid. Hotel was centrally located, perched on top of the hill looking over the village. Room was average. We enjoyed the restaurant located within the hotel. Food was good and the service was even better.

We were very pleased with this accommodation. The only thing that was a problem is that the bed clothes were set too low on the bed and I was cold during the night. They were also so tight that I couldn"t adjust them.
