It's a five-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd. The stars are indeed very clear. It's suitable for taking pictures. It's very safe around. I found that all the people taking pictures were Chinese. It may be because it's rare to see stars and the Milky Way in domestic cities. The hotel has complete facilities and is located on a commercial street.

We feel that it is not good. The room is crowded and the breakfast is very average. The price/performance ratio is not high.

The hotel is very close to the Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Tekapo. It was very convenient for participating in stargazing activities at night. I contacted the car for pick-up. The hotel room is not big, but the stay is okay.

To be precise, it's more like a motel. I believe that many people are passing through and only stay for one night, so the price of this hotel is very suitable. The old facilities and equipment are not suitable for vacation. Parking is free at the door. My room has three beds, which are not wide and very soft. Although the quality is not high, maybe because I was tired, the stay was quite comfortable. The hot water is hot and plentiful. The area is not large, and there is nowhere to put your feet after opening the box. There is heating, so when you come back after watching the starry sky at night, you are not cold at all. Just off the main road, easy to find. I forgot to tell the front desk that I would be late, so they left my key outside the door and gave me a room map, which was very considerate. This is the first motel I've stayed in in New Zealand and it was a good experience.

This bed is too soft. If a person weighs 150 pounds, he probably won't be able to get up from it. But the location of the hotel is better. It's right by the lake. It's a 10-minute walk to the Church of the Good Shepherd and a 10-minute walk to the supermarket. There's a pizza shop next to it that's delicious. You must come out to see the Milky Way at night. It's so shocking.

In the center of town, the room is small and clean. The surrounding attractions are convenient

The location of the hotel is very good, not far from the lake and the Shepherd Church. I stayed here nine years ago and I still choose here this time. Many new hotels have been built in the town, which effectively solves the accommodation problem of tourists.

There are only rooms with large and small beds. The hotel is right by the lake. After crossing a small bridge, you will reach the church. Watching ⭐⭐ here at night is very shocking. The most famous Japanese restaurant is right next door. Parking is easy. The room is slightly small, the facilities are old, and the sound insulation is average

We had two adjoining rooms. Both were the same size but the furniture and configuration was different. One had an extra bed, the other had a bathtub instead of a shower. I much preferred the layout of the one with the extra bed even though we didn't use it. But otherwise both were functional and more like a motel room than a hotel room.

The room was very good, clean and tidy. The balcony was right next to the swimming pool and the Church of the Good Shepherd was just a few hundred meters away. It was very convenient. There are Japanese food, pizza, supermarkets nearby... and you can directly see the starry sky at night!

It's right by the lake. The location is good and the scenery is great. It's within walking distance of the Church of the Good Shepherd. However, the infrastructure is average and the aisles are so narrow that I almost got stuck pulling my suitcase. There is a very famous Kohan restaurant next to it. It is very busy and needs to be booked in advance.
