Outstanding
AAndy GWe had preciously stayed at the Aloft in Munich, and were impressed enough to choose the Aloft chain again for a recent short visit to Stuttgart. We were not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located a few steps from the UBahn (one stop from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of stops away from the main centre) and is part of a new shopping complex with a range of stores and eating outlets. Facilities are modern, clean and well appointed, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We were especially impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff, all of whom went out of their way to look after our needs. One of our party was without vital medication, and hotel reception took the trouble both to identify the best local medical centre to obtain a prescription and to give detailed directions for finding it. We would certainly stay here again for future visits to the city.

GGuest UserPros- Funky hotel in a central location. You can walk to the city center. Very close to U6 tram which goes directly to the airport. Stay at room 520 for for nights. The room was spacious with bright lights. The bed was big and comfy. The staff is young and energetic. Cons - breakfast lack varieties. Send message to staff via tablet/ipad provided in the room but no response. The fridge was not working.

Alles in Allem: furchtbarer Aufenthalt! Dringend davon abgeraten!!!

TTour15379352184I had a one night stay at this property and it was a mix bag.  Some highlights  - staff in general were friendly  - accessibility to the hotel is good - via public transportation and if you have your own car, there is street parking available and in the shopping centre.  Parking in the hotel's garage is on the expensive side of 17.50€ per night - rooms were spacious and clean - water pressure and temperature was good Some improvement points - bathroom size was on the small side, also found that the location of the towel cabinet in the bathroom to be quite dangerous/harzadous as it's placed within a small space area opposite the toilet bowl which if not careful you can potentially hit your head while getting up at the corner of the cabinet - zero recognition or care as a HHonors elite.  This has to be one of the first property in Germany or anywhere that matters, not offered any complimentary bottle of water in the room.  When I went to request for this after check-in at the reception, they initially was happy to bring me one, but later informed that I had to pay for it as I had the points as the option.  I find this pretty sad as it does not even cost €1 for a bottle. - again like a lot of other properties, no minibar in the room and the temperature control in the room was not the best when wanting to cool down the room. The only reason I would return to this property is because of the location, but if I had a car, I would most probably stay back at the Hilton Garden Inn Neckkerpark property which I had much better experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel has had some recent renovations but unfortunately they used direct stick carpet which made the floor very hard. It's fairly close to everything, local train will take you into the town center, approximately 15 minutes. The room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was OK but the shower was small. It was unusual to find that the bar and restaurant were both closed . However, close by there is a supermarket where you can buy just about anything. There are also many local restaurants withing walking distance. The gentleman on the afternoon shift was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. Another positive note, is that the hotel is walking distance to the Porsche Museum, which is a must see.

GGuest UserMy daughter is based in the Army in Stuttgart, so I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. I have to say that except for one young woman, the Reception staff was the most inhospitable that I have ever encountered. It started with my arrival. I had a confirmed reservation, had checked in on line, and had informed the hotel that I would be arriving late. When I arrived, the reception clerk spent 10 minutes working on the computer and mumbling something before finally informing me that they had no room for me. They did offer to send me to another hotel and then I could either move back to the Pullman or stay at the other hotel. Of course, I had no idea how close this hotel was or any other information. I insisted that there must be a room there -- and they finally said that there was a suite available for one night and that I would have to move the following morning (which I did). Through all of this, there were no apologies for the inconvenience nor any offered compensation for the inconvenience of having to change rooms. They acted like I was being unreasonable for insisting on a room. During my stay, if I needed anything from the front desk, I frequently had to wait while they finished not one -- but several tasks and took a new phone call while I waited. Not once did I see a smile on anyone's face. I was not alone in receiving this treatment -- and noticed that other customers were treated equally as rudely. The room was comfortable, although the carpet always looked dirty. The housecleaning was undependable -- some days they came and some days they did not. I have stayed in other Pullman hotels, and this one did not meet the standards of the chain for cleanliness, and custome service.

CComer the roamerJust a heads up, you might think this is a quick walk from the HBF, but it’s a nice little hike uphill! If you know the way, it’s a quick 12-15 minute walk. If you’re unfamiliar with the area it could take 30 minutes. I got a corner room on the 1st floor and loved the 3 big windows around the room. I didn’t spend much time in the lobby but they had a bar, pool table, and foosball. The laundry required you to download an app and pay contactless. Just let me use my coins smh

GGuest UserReception person was nice enough. Spoke to the ”Chef” a day or so prior to check-in - requested and was given a front facing, lower floor room. Upon check-in given a 3rd room floor with NO couch (where the couch should be) and no chair. Back to reception; given a 5th floor room with SAME result; back to reception. Given a 6th floor room which at least had a chair where the couch should have been - I'll stay here buuuuut mini fridge inop as was the Thermostat. Bathroom water pressure was dismal with no condiments; good I always bring my own. BTW exiting the elevator on the 6th floor: lights were out in the hallway and as I always check the stairway, also dark, told reception who called maintenance who solved the problem.

GGuest UserWe spent two nights in this hotel in one of the suburbs/villages of Stuttgart. The hotel is fairly easy to reach by public transport (U- or S-bahn) and a short (5min) walk and is located in a quiet office area. After having checked in, we were given a room but when we arrived at the room the bathroom was full of dirty towels, so we went back to reception and were given another room. This second room was clean from the inside, but its balcony was dirty, including a dirty ashtray. In fact, we would prefer to not have any ashtrays at all, also not on balconies (as smoke from one balcony can still easily blow into a neighbouring room). After some time, our balcony was cleaned though. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the airco worked well without making too much noise. Staff were friendly and helpful, but at times it felt like the hotel was understaffed (for example reception was often not staffed, also during the day). We also had breakfast at the hotel, which was okay with a reasonable selection of foods and drinks. It would have been nice if there had been a bit more choice of food and drink items, including some more local specialties. A nice gesture was that all guests received complimentary ice-creams upon check-in.

GGuest UserFor work I stayed more than a week in this B&B, about 10 minutes from the central station and the centre of Stoccarda. I was very well, the room a little, but comfortable and especially quiet despite being on the side of the road. Clean and breakfast rich. There is everything and for the price you can't say anything! In my time there was the Springing Festival, which I really can recommend to go. And this B&B is two steps away.
