The whole city is relatively old, and the modern hotel is more prominent. It is relatively close to the train station, and it takes 12 minutes to walk. There are not many restaurants around, and there is a pizzeria next to it that tastes good. Overall, Portugal has the lowest consumption in Western Europe.

Hotel is easy to reach as it is very close to Trindade Train Station. It is just a few minutes walk from the station. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s still early to check in but they offer to keep our luggage so we can have a tour before checking in. Most of the interesting places that we want to visit are all within a walking distance from the hotel. It’s in the city center and looking for food is not a problem at all. We had a wonderful time in Porto and really recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel because of the location and its price. The hotel is just across the street and it is hard to miss their signboard. The room is simple and clean. Bright white tone. Practical design. Comfortable bed. There is no shower curtain or screen in the shower area. Need to be careful not to splash water on the floor. You can hear the traffic of the road, so bringing ear plugs might help if you are sensitive. Overall, it is good option for budget travellers who need good locations.

Superb location, literally two minutes walk from Trinidade metro station which is direct from airport (5.10 euros for two people) metro run approx every 20 minutes ,couldn’t be easier! Hotel is absolutely fabulous,very welcoming,professional,friendly and ALL staff are helpful without exception,all are a credit to The Saboria . Our room was ground floor and looked out onto the gardens,it was immaculate, large and tastefully decorated. We had welcome complimentary treats that were an absolute bonus. Breakfast has a good varied selection,to suit all and was delicious. We couldn’t recommend highly enough and hope to return in the very near future.

Lovely location in Foz for people who prefer to stay somewhere calmer than the centre of Porto. You can catch a 500 bus nearby or the tram (about 500m from hotel). The hotel is near the beachfront and overlooks a castle. The best points are the panoramic roof view out to sea, bar and pool area. There is some underground parking available. The staff were extremely helpful and even helped us get our car out of the garage. We had a large vehicle (Toyota Hilux double cab) and managed to park it in the underground car park. If you are a confident driver you can get it in. The hotel was extremely clean. Breakfast was busy but still managed to appear calm. This is a good hotel for the price in a good location. The rooms were a little hot but you can open the windows. Would we come back? Yes.

I should say from the off that I stayed here almost a year ago, so my review predates Covid quite considerably. I booked the apartment well in advance and a few days before my stay received an email with instructions re check in and where to get keys etc. I messaged back accordingly with my estimated arrival time and again once I was en route to the apartment. I have to say it wasn't the easiest place to find, but this isn't the fault of the rental company but my navigation app. Ana met me outside the apartment and she was reallly friendly and helpful, making sure that I knew where everything was and how to contact her if I needed anything - I didn't but it was reassuring to know that the option was there. The apartment was for me fabulous - I had the ground floor studio which was perfect for a couple or indeed a solo traveller like me. I never had issues with loud fridges or loud anything, and I'm a very light sleeper. The apartment just the right temperature - important for a menopausal woman! There was a small table and a few chairs in the main room with an expandable wardrobe which I never used and of course the bed, which was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. The kitchen and bathroom were at the other end of the studio behind a partition which could be closed at night - I left it slightly open so I could find the bathroom in the dark. The kitchen had everything I needed with plenty of utensils including a small dishwasher and a food sized fridge. The shower was great too with plenty of hot water and nice fluffy towels. Once I got to know the city I realised that this is a perfect location - close to the city centre and the river but also quiet and secluded. You can walk to most places within no more than 15 minutes or so and the train station is not much further away. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets close by for those want to eat out - or prefer to self cater. I did a bit of both. All in all for me this was a brilliant place to stay - very well located for an excellent price and really comfortable and well equipped.

Very satisfied! ! ! Will come to live in the future~ The location is very good, 5 minutes walk from the train station, 15 minutes walk to the river, 5 minutes to the supermarket! The sister at the front desk looks good, breaking the perception of the Portuguese. The room is too big, clean and hygienic, it's almost like home. Hotel located on the top of the street Santa Caterina, the director that leads directly to the historic center. I need to say that it's a highway, it's very pleasant to go down, in 15 minutes you're in the centre, rising can become a problem for those who are not used to walking. The stop of the metro (Marques) is only 300 mt away. The hotel is clean, friendly and available staff. Single beds at a half-stage square where you're resting charming. Air conditioning is well-functioning, bathroom with bathroom and large bidet.The area is extremely quiet, quiet even the night if you come back late. The hotel is very convenient for the service offered.

My daughter and I spent four nights at this hotel while on a city break. Situated along the river, it is a 15-20 minute walk along the river into the town. There is a cheap Uber service and a tram stop a few hundred meters from the hotel. The hotel is a small boutique hotel with friendly helpful staff. The rooms are themed according to various artists and the artistic theme recurs throughout the hotel. we had a river view room and the bathroom was completely separate. Robes and slippers are provided as was a bottle of water on arrival. The room also has a fridge/mini-bar. Breakfast was pleasant with freshly-cooked eggs, pancakes and omelettes. The hotel is spotlessly clean and visually attractive. Aircon is effective so the room always felt pleasant. Soul Senses is a small cafe and wine bar about 50 metres from the hotel. The staff, food and wine were delightful. The staff also recommended seafood restaurants for us to visit. A word of warning to ignore approaches by 'taxi drivers' inside the terminal at Porto airport. We were overcharged by a guy chancing his luck. A few minor points. Fresh coffee at breakfast inside of an urn would be lovely. There is no soft close on the front door so it constantly bangs. Our room curtains were decorative only and did not close which meant the lights of the city and early morning light could affect one's sleep. All told, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend.
