BBrynna SadlerUnique hotel! The live music in their bar was such a great time to watch! Super clean and very accommodating. Definitely worth the higher price. We will stay here anytime we are in this area from now on. Perfect place for couples or a weekend away with friends.

What an amazing hotel! We try to stay in historic places when traveling and this one definitely proved to be worth while. We had booked a King room but were pleasantly surprised at check in and were upgraded to a Suite! The room was exceptionally clean, the bathroom was well stocked with nicely scented amenities and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were all friendly and pleasant. With several options available on site, we chose to have dinner and cocktails at Ace Gillett's, the restaurant/club in the basement of the hotel. Food, service and cocktails were all good. Located in Old Town, it's surrounded by lots of shops and eateries, all within walking distance. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and have put this hotel on our ”Must Return” list.

HHong Koon TReasonable priced and comfortable room. I only needed to stay a night, have some time to visit the old town center, and this was perfect. Breakfast is OK, at least there are warm food. And the check in time is 3pm! I dunno how hotels have started to allow check in at 4pm. Kudos to La Quinta!

This hotel is wonderful! It’s clean & inviting. The best gem about this hotel is the staff because that’s what makes it 5 stars! Sabrina at check in took wonderful care of us even though we got in much later than expected. She made check in effortless & took care of all the details. Thank you! At breakfast the next morning Destiny went out of her way to meet everyone’s needs. It had been a busy morning but you couldn’t tell in the level of care & attention she gave each guest. The only negative is with the Hilton brand itself & the cutbacks they have made to their breakfast & benefits for their loyal members. Despite that, this hotel is one of the best Hiltons around because of their staff & the extra effort they put into making this hotel outstanding! We will definitely be back just for how amazing they are!!!!

GGuest UserThis is a very sweet hotel! The room was very clean and prepared with everything we needed. Breakfast had all the usual offerings and the scrambled eggs were delicious. Nick the breakfast attendant was awesome and made our breakfast experience delightful! The hotel is across the street from the University and downtown is very nearby.

Priced better than nearby competitors. Lobby and rooms were clean and no bad smells. Fridge and microwave in room. Staff was friendly. Water pressure was awesome. Automatic pancake maker at touch of a button, but eggs and sausage were precooked and in fridge to microwave. Side doors wouldn't unlock so always had to go back through lobby after going to car.

HHONGIn the graduation season, there are more people who may go to the school graduation ceremony. To be honest, the price is not cheap and catch up with the price of domestic five-star hotels. The overall hotel can not say bad, but can not compliment the service, especially the room cleaning. Actually, one day, I couldn’t clean it. The next day I cleaned the bathtub without washing the water. The towel was not given. The facial tissue was empty and I didn’t know how to add it. The bathtub was very blocked. As a result, I found out a lot of hair. It was speechless. . Breakfast is more general, the odd thing is that there is only one person serving in the breakfast room (doing everything), so there is always something to eat. The young man at the front desk was very good, but after two days of booking, I found that the actual schedule needed to live for one more day. The two orders had to be re-updated and updated, which was a bit rigid.

TTrek44992782514 Admittedly, this was a busy time to book (CSU family weekend/homecoming), which is why I booked (or thought I did) almost two months early. We drove 8 hours from Omaha and arrived to spend time with our freshman daughter then decided to check in to our hotel room at roughly 9:30 pm. The place was a little run down but looked ok for sleep and to enjoy a hot breakfast (or so we thought...side note; the website says breakfast is included - IT IS NOT). When you get there the front desk has a sign that acknowledges that fact and says the website is indeed incorrect and there is no breakfast included. The sign also says they are working to fix that mistake on the website. Apparently, in 2023, updating a website is hard work because the website still says you get a free breakfast. I was slightly alarmed when I walked up the check-in area because there were multiple people stacked up to get in, all looking fairly upset. Once it was my turn, I was told that there were no rooms left and that they overbooked multiple people (perhaps this room went to the poor person who got charged multiple hundreds of dollars per night at the gouge rate instead of me, who booked in advance - shady s&^t man). Then I was told that there was an option for me to get a room - they were going to give me a voucher for another property and I would be honored there. No problem except - THE PROPERYT WAS TWO HOURS AWAY!!! I don't know about you, but after driving 8 hours to get there and having toured campus and other areas all day, the prospect of driving two hours away (at 9:30 pm) and then two hours back the next morning, multiple times over the weekend was not very appealing to me. This is where I was told there was nothing else they could do for me (they hadn't actually done anything yet). I declined the voucher and was told, ”don't worry, we're not going to charge you for the room.” HA!!! Now we enter scramble mode. As stated, this was a busy weekend so finding a hotel room was not easy. We called around many hotels and finally found one room, which we booked for the only night they had available (which meant we also had to find a room for the next night too). Cost - $400 per night for each hotel = $800 for two nights and a nice move from one hotel to the other in the middle of the weekend. I booked two months early for a bill that would have been ~$250. So, because some hotel chain doesn't understand what a ”reservation” actually means (anyone watch Seinfeld:)), I'm out about $550. This is of course, unless Guest Services for Choice Hotels decides to do something (something else I get do...call and argue with a hotel chain and deal with that). No one at the actual hotel was willing to do anything ”else” for us - just sent us packing. Thanks Clarion, Fort Collins for making what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend enjoying family a pain in the A%$...be warned anyone looking to stay here.
