Palmbeach Resort & Spa Reviews

It was a nice resort with three swimming pools, jakuze and a private beach. The restaurant had nice meals, breakfast was buffet and tasty. The staff were kind and helpful. If you are visiting Mactan, you should stay at this resort. I'd recommend this resort.

it was good, just ok though the staff were very accommodating however the beach front did not enjoyed it and the pool water looked not well taken care of.

I and my husband decided to have a short 1 day break away from the busy city life of Cebu and tried Palmbeach. We found it very old resort yet it offered playhouse for kids and game room for adult. There was a small pool jacuzzi-size with 2feet as its height to which not harder to watch kids went swimming. The beach flooring was slimy as there were alot of greens thus not too enticing to swim. We were set to stay at the 4th floor to which my husband commented like a hospital in the hallway 😅 There was a connecting door to another room were the guests were so loud and made us not safe. Going home, it was so hard to find taxi and you have to add P200 just to provide you one. The service was ok and it was a good stay overall.

The hotel complex was quiet..staff very friendly Local people very sociable But the location was a long Way from the City centre. But an enjoyable place.

Definitely a 3 star rating. The room was very clean but showing its age a little though the bed was comfortable. Nice swimming pool and outdoor area, plemty of deck chaors and places to sit around the pool. Breakfast was decent without being spectacular. Has a nice seaside feel to it but it's not of a resort standard, Needs to be modernised if it wants to reach a higher standard. My other complaint is that it is a bit far from anywhere (though some people may like this) however there is a 7/11 right across the street which was super convenient. OK for a short stay.

We had an amazing weekend getaway in Palm Beach Resort. Location was ok. It wasnt the best location BUT it has a 711 just across the road and the hotel has a nice store in their lobby that sells snacks, drinks, swimsuits, swimming things, etc on a very reasonable price. We originally booked a standard room but upon checking in, they upgraded us to a deluxe room which i was so grateful for. It was a nice, big room. It has a small balcony, tv with cable, split type aircon, 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 sofa, mini fridge, mini kitchen area (no utensils though just sink and electric kettle), and bathroom. The room itself was so nice however, the bathroom could have been thought better. Water pressure isnt that great especially if theres a lot of guests in the hotel. Im just a bit sad they didnt clean our room for the 3 days we stayed. Also, next door resorts might kinda be loud at night or during mornings. The amenities were beautiful. They have 4 swimming pools: a small 2ft pool and 3 good sized pool thats 1x 4ft and 2x 5ft deep. Everywhere you go in their beach area has places to sit on. They have a small restaurant, a mini chapel, a small game room (billiards, foosball, and sungka), and my favorite: kid’s play area with slides and playhouse. Its a small resort but amenities were well thought of. They also have access to the sea. No beach though but stairs going to the sea water only. The staff were nice. Very kind and accomodating. Price per room is super duper worth it!! With how big the room is and amenities you and your kids can enjoy, its really great! As long as you are not that picky, then this resort is good for you. Overall, we had a good time. My kids has a wonderful time. Will we stay here again? Why not. It sure is a nice resort. The room is very old, smells musty, not worth the 400 RMB, and there is no hot water for bathing. There are cockroaches in the first room, the kettle is full of water stains, and the floor is full of yellow dirt. I have never stayed in such an outrageous place hotel

Convenient to go to Olango Island. The ferry terminal near the Shangri-La Hotel is a 10 minute walk or a few minutes by Jimny. Boat charter from the hotel costs 7500php for 4 people. san viciente.Surpa Island and Talima Beach. The hotel pool is also good. Eat and rest at a small rest house on the side. There is a 7-Eleven across the street.

I stayed with my family including an infant. The beach is narrow like other hotels in the same price range on Mactan Island. It's always the pool purpose, but there are four pools, so there should be one favorite. We used the elevated pool. The room is spacious and has a nice view. The shower didn't have enough hot water, which is normal here. The breakfast buffet has plenty of items. Overall I was satisfied and had a lot of fun.

High cost performance, average breakfast, good lunch at own expense, fried chicken pizza to choose from, convenient diving, There are buses and tuk-tuks out of the city at the entrance of the hotel.
