We are here now and what else can we say but WOW! We have been to several nice hotels in our time, check out reviews....but this one.... Is the best... Everything is outstanding. Staff very friendly, special thanks must go to Kiryaki, perfect service from this lovely lady. Cleaners... Where do we start. Everything is so clean. Clean towels EVERY DAY... EVERY DAY!!! We've never had that but even in 5* hotels. Clean sheets every other day too. Fantastic service. Small and friendly hotel. Breakfast is lovely. Plentiful and loads of choice. Think cold buffet, with added hot pies, sweet and savoury. Fresh fruit. Strawberries every day too. Again never had that before. Lunch mostly snacks but as time goes on, more items added, moussaka, pasticcio etc... Pool towels provided at reception. Change when you like. No deposit. All in all, if you're thinking about booking this one because it looks idyllic, it is. Just book it. Would give 6* if we could. Well done to Sotiri and his team. We WILL be back.

We were the first flight in of the new season. For the first few days there were only 7 of us in the complete hotel. It was bliss! After that other people started to arrive but not in great numbers. The views and location are stunning. The staff were great and always available to help. Rooms are quite basic but still have everything you need and cleaning staff were first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Sunbeds around the pool were really comfortable. For the first couple of days food was limited in the hotel due to start of season but after two days there was a full menu and the food was good and reasonably priced. Some restaurants around were still not open but there were still enough to enable a choice on a daily basis. The local bus stops outside the hotel and to travel either way is easy and cheap (around €1.60 single journey). I can imagine it will get much busier as the season progresses but still think this is a hidden gem and will never tire of the views.

There is an extra per night "tax" that they mention at check out that is owed....no mention of it at check in....shady.

A beautiful peaceful hotel if you want total chill out time, with jaw dropping views. Get a sea view room. Although the views are all lovely. The breakfast is cold, a buffet with boiled eggs, fruit, yoghurts, cereals, pastries, cold meats, cheeses etc, very fresh and plentiful. The hotel describe their bar menu as snacks but they are very good meals, beautiful salads, pizza, club sandwiches and stuffed peppers and moussaka. They serve most of the day until late. The staff are very friendly and Fotis the bar manager was amazing 👏 he looked after us well. The rooms ard basic, but very clean, thank you amazing cleaning team. I don't like shower curtains either, but we managed. Take a kettle or request one from reception. Fridge in room, good aircon. The beach and sea are lovely, pebbled beach you need beach shoes. The pool is beautiful too, very clean and well kept. Very good restaurants within 10 -15 minutes walk, more further on, and supermarket and pharmacy. Bus stop at the end of the road to busier resorts,. I would recommend this beautiful peaceful hotel. Would definitely go again.

We visited for 3 weeks in September. This being our 4th stay and it won’t be our last . Family run hotel in the most idyllic location. All rooms have a balcony and are spotless with everything you need ( including a fridge). The hotel is set back a decent distance from the road so there is no traffic noise . Very good continental style breakfast. Local produce and excellent variety.You can also get various hot and cold dishes during the day and evening from the bar . The bar is well equipped and the prices are very reasonable. The owners Sotiris and Makis are there with the sole purpose of making your stay extremely enjoyable. Both they and the entire staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. If you want a relaxing break in an ideal location which is easily accessible to both Lefkas town and Nidri then this is the place for you . Enjoy!

Had a very relaxing week here . PROS : Spotlessly clean . Chambermaids amazing Well designed hotel . Lovely location Very good continental style breakfast Very comfy beds and pillows Enough sun beds for everyone Snacks and drinks good value Kitchen / bar and younger members of staff very friendly Bus stops and tourist agency right outside hotel Can walk to restaurants without going on road CONS : Bathrooms need rethink . Shower too small and basin too big Although younger staff very nice we thought the 2 older men on the desk were miserable on occasions No help with luggage and couldn’t borrow a phone charger as I had brought the wrong one ( however shopkeepers in Nydri brilliant offering to charge mine if I couldn’t find one ….but I did ) TIPS : Rooms 210 to 214 have good views and are quiet If you put your sunbeds on the beach by the trees to the right , you will get more shade later and less noise from the road Thoroughly recommend the 7 islands boat trip ……..9 hours , 3 swim stops and over an hour in Fiskardo . £35 including lunch ….brilliant value . Boat very comfy . Very easy to go the Lefkas town or Nydri in the evening where you have great choice of restaurants . Timetable at hotel . Flat fare 1 euro 60

Enjoyed our 5th visit as much as ever! This is a small, extremely comfortable and extremely clean simple hotel in a great position with a large grassy area between pool and small stony beach (swim shoes recommended) Loads of sunbeds available enabling you to select your preferred position. Breakfast is plentiful (no hot food) and constantly replenished. All the staff are lovely and extremely attentive, either Sotiris and Makis (the owners) are there all the time and will help with anything you need. Bus stops at end of drive - €1.60 to either Nidri or Lefkas Town for larger choice of eateries and shops. Easy flat walk to several local Tavernas - our favourite is Sto Limoni. The Pharmacy and a Gift shop are a 5 minute walk and the Supermarket about 10 minutes.

We had a great time again at porto ligia hotel,Sotiris and Makis are the owners,they are both very pleasant,and very approachable if you have any questions about anything,nothing is too much trouble for them. The staff at hotel are brilliant,always smiling and helpful. The breakfast is very good,and a good selection on lunch menu. Plenty of sunbeds to go around,and some nice tavernas by the sea.with lovely greek food. We have been five times,and would reccomendthis hotel. Its right by the sea,and has its own private bit of beach,but you do need sea shoes.As soon as you enter hotel you feel very welcome,cant wait to go back again, The views are superb. Linda & John

Lovely small, friendly and quiet hotel. Nice pool, plenty of sun beds and right next to the sea. Bring beach shoes (£8 from decathlon did the job) and lots of fish to see if you bring a snorkel. Staff very friendly and fix things straight away. A handful of tavernas near by to choose from or you can get the bus for about 1.60 euros each way into Nidri (about 25 mins) which is more lively. Very clean. Enjoyed our stay here.
