Red Tower Hotel

"We arrived late evening on the 3rd of September 2023 , We asked the receptionists if there was drinks or food available she apologised most sincerely that these facilities where not available, we were disappointed! Very. Not a good start. Vasiliki was brilliant to be fair to her. As for her manager not impressed at all very abrupt at the point rudeness. As for the rest of the staff over worked and clearly under paid. However they too were brilliant. The plus for this hotel is the view, the room was ok acceptable for it’s so called 3 star rating,as for the rest not good in my opinion. This hotel has great potential if the company who owns it made the effort, but alas I think there policy is to take as much money from the guest with little care or thought for their needs!! Biggest no no for me was the drinks for the room no cups , also I was informed I’d be charged for the tea bags! 3 stars I don’t think so!!!"

Rouda Village

"Terrible experience – not worth the money I stayed at Rouda Village and was extremely disappointed. The conditions were far from what you’d expect for the price. The air conditioning cannot be used during the day, so every time I returned to my room it was unbearably hot. On top of that, the electricity shuts off when you’re not in the room, which means you can’t leave anything charging or cooling while you’re out. Overall, the comfort level was very poor and absolutely not worth the money they ask for. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay."

Thomais Boutique Hotel

"The third time on Lefkada, I spent my 14 days vacation at the Thomais Boutique Hotel in Nikiana. Being a boutique hotel, it is different to typical holiday hotels, in the positive sense. First, it is a small hotel, I guess around 8 to ten rooms. The rooms are designed in an unusual, modern way and with a lot of love for details. All illumination, directly or indirectly selectable, is based on energy efficient LED technology. Each room has it's own motto and is designed individually. My deluxe two person room was spacious and featured a large bed with a thick quality mattress. If you order a land view room, you have silent ambience, the sea view rooms however are oriented to the coast road. I heard about people complaining about the unevitable traffic noise this causes, but if you research correctly in advance (e.g. by Google maps) you will see this before. Luckily, the sea view rooms have a dual glass balcony sliding door (and a second mesh slider against insects), and this way there is almost no noise, especially in the night there is generally low traffic only. The air condition with free adjustment of the settings is included and so is a small safe and a fridge. A TV set is also in the room, offering mostly greek channels. The WiFi is well meshed and strong with multiple repeaters. Compared to other hotels, the cleaning of the rooms is on the highest possible level and really top notch. Breakfast is selected in advance and features all options you may appreciate. I especially enjoyed the daily really fresh fruit selection and and the well cooled pure orange juice. The manager couple was friendly and helpful throughout and offered me food even at late arrival or early departures (as it happens with planned boat trips or other activities). The a la card dishes are reasonable sized, nicely prepared and tasting really well, but a bit on the pricey side. Unfortunately I had not time to visit the rooftop table possibility and I also missed the chance to exercise a bit using the underwater cycle and treadmill which reside in a small open air basin. The location of the hotel between Nidri and Lefkada town is fine to visit both spots with any motorized vehicle. Attention: Bus schedule is just around 4 to 5 times a day, so you need exact planning if you rely on such option. As the summary, the hotel is clearly recommendable for a full vacation stay, being and adult only facility you are free of ususal children noise and disturbance, and all guest are behaving well which adds to the high level of recreation during the stay."

"Had a lovely stay at Grand Nefeli hotel in Vasiliki. The hotel is located in Ponti beach Vasiliki within walking distance to local restaurants and bars. The room was clean with comfortable bed, mattress and pillows. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. The hotel has a patio with a private swimming pool and free sunbeds provided on the beach. There is a lot of activities you can choose from when visiting Vasiliki - paddle boarding, mountain bikes, diving and windsurfing. Amenities are provided and there is also a refrigerator in the room. The room has got double doors with mosquito net and air conditioning. I had a sea view room on the second floor with breakfast included and it was a good value for money."

"Vasiliki, Dimitri and team along with the whole ambience of the resort makes the ionion blue a must visit when in Lefkada , my family always return here it’s like coming home . Definitely worth staying !!!The breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve seen in Greece with a dining area overlooking the blue waters of the ionion , it really does help to leave your stress behind."

"We had a lovely stay in the surf hotel, Vasiliki was stunningly beautiful, unfortunately the hotel room we were allocated was tired, shabby and very dirty, it’s a real shame the bed was so hard it was difficult to sleep on and the bathroom was really bad, it had a rotted bottom of the door that had been covered up by a white label!!! The staff were very nice so we didn’t mention it"

Studios Lefkada

"The worst accommodation experience A bathroom without ventilation, resulting in no air circulation and a bad smell that spread even outside the room. The bed was constantly moving, the mattress was hard, and the pillow was worn out… there was no peace and quiet at all, and the sign for the accommodation was barely visible. There are many things that need to be improved."

"Very clean comfortable rooms. Very central location right on the beach front. Very relaxing hotel with friendly and very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. We were only staying two nights but extended our stay to 4nights as we liked it so much. Definitely would come back."

Lefkadio Suites

"We stayed for one night early November out of season. We were due to catch an early bus to Thessaloniki from the bus station which was a 5 minute walk away so a great location for us. It is a 15 mins walk to the town centre. Two large supermarkets and a bakery nearby. The staff and their attention to customer satisfaction was exemplary. The venue is of a high standard and the pool area is very nice. Breakfast delivered to the room included fruit juice, tea and coffee, two fried eggs and a hot toastie each, croissants, choc au pains, jams, honey, cake and apples and this was described a little breakfast as we were out of season! We will be back without a doubt."
