"We had a fabulous 2-night stay at Anadeo and were very grateful for the villa upgrade which meant we had very few steps to climb to Rachi restaurant next door (amazing food and music which thankfully didn’t go on too late). There is also a funicular style lift to transport you from reception to the various levels when necessary. The villa was tastefully designed and furnished with very comfortable beds and quality linen and towels. The terrace was perfect for dining and lounging with a good size infinity pool which was kept perfectly clean. The views were incredible and it was fun watching the paragliders glide past. A fantastic breakfast was delivered to the villa each morning, generous portions with a great choice of dishes. Our lovely host (sorry did not get a name) and her team could not do enough to help, ordering groceries in for our arrival, booking transfers, restaurants and a beach club for our final day. She even gave us beach towels to take with us and wouldn’t accept any money. This is a very special place and we would not hesitate to go back."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at the G George! The Staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming, a big thank you to Caroline, Dunja and Joanna for their helpful tips and guidance about the resort. We could not fault our ground floor room, it was clean, spacious, excellent faciities refreshed every day by the maids. The pool was very clean and plenty of sun beds with or without shade. The bar was well stocked and had plenty of comfortable seating prices were similar to the rest of the resort. The breakfasts were amazing, plenty of choice and something different added every day. Great snacks available at the bar and evening meals were of a very high standard and great value. The location was perfect, nice and peaceful and only a five minute stroll to the resort centre and a ten minute walk to the local bus stop and coach drop off/pickup point. "The hotel bears little resemblance to the impression given on the website. This is not four star luxury accommodation. Nearly everything about this place is dishonest e.g Grand Suites having Spa Baths. There are no spa baths in this hotel. We stayed in the VIP Grand Suite: very tatty with lots of maintenance issues, sink smelt terrible. Management rude and aggressive. No interest in fixing anything. Very little hot water. Shower head inoperable. Do yourself a favour, book somewhere else."

"My report is very contradictory, but just to say, we would revisit the Ionian Blue Hotel. So, two couples, in our 60s wanted to visit Lefkada. We chose the Ionian Blue Hotel, for it’s 5* status. It’s in a district called Nikiana, which is not far from Nikiana Town and Nidri Town – both needing a taxi to get to, so maybe good to hire a car to get around? We’d booked superior rooms, with sea views. I can honestly say the views were absolutely stunning. We have travelled a lot and we haven’t had a view like that in quite some time. A nice balcony with chairs, to enjoy the sun rise. But the room itself was a little tired. We were only staying for four nights, so we didn’t want to make a fuss and we got ourselves comfortable. We didn’t have tea/coffee making facilities, but a bottle of water. Water isn’t expensive at the hotel, so no need to go out, traipsing around for a supermarket. There is a minibar, free of use, as is the safe. Our bathroom was pretty big, with a few toiletries, but the problem being that the main shower, was in a cubicle with the toilet, so the toilet and floor got soaked. We ended up standing in the bath and showering, but water still managed to go everywhere, so we were forever mopping up. We were provided with new towels every day. But, had we been staying longer than 4 nights, even with that fantastic view, I would have asked to have been moved. The room itself was big, with lots of mirrors, lots of storage space, a nice big dressing table but, to be honest, I used the bathroom to get ready – that’s where the hairdryer is – attached to the wall, and there was a lot of worktop to store all my things. There is no iron or ironing board in the room, but you can request one, and there is also a cleaning/ironing service. I tend to rinse small items, and I missed a little washing line. The aircon was great in our room – no problem whatsoever. Their main restaurant is very big – lots of inside seating, and a nice terrace. We were B&B, so ate on the terrace, over-looking the Ionian Sea, which was pleasant. Smoking is allowed outside. Saying that, most places in Lefkada allow smoking. And, I was pleased to say we only saw one cat, which people did annoyingly feed. Not that there were many people at the hotel – it was empty! They had had a big Porsche conference, just before we arrived, and as we were leaving, the pool area was being cleared of all sunbeds, as a wedding was about to take place, so you would have to go out for the day, or go down to the jetty. And, going back to breakfast, the choice was very limited. But, we managed to always find something. Now on to the pool area, it’s very nice, with spongy cushions and because the hotel was empty, we sometimes found that we had the pool to ourselves. It was a decent size, clean, with beautiful views. There’s a little bar/restaurant, near the pool, with a couple of sofas to sit and enjoy the views. And, tables and chairs if you are going to eat. And"

"A warm friendly welcome from check in to unfortunately having to go home. Beautiful location overlooking the marina and a short walk to the center of Nidri. Room was very spacious and well maintained the aircon being a bonus as it was baking hot during our stay. We stayed in a room for 4 people with our balcony overlooking the pool, bar and beautiful views over the marina. The hotel has a lovely pool area and a very well stocked pool bar. You can also enjoy your drinks on the beach across the road which was lovely in the evening watching the moon rise over the bay. A fantastic 2 weeks spent in a great super value for money hotel with a lovely friendly Greek family as your hosts. Would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Oscar"

Rouda Bay Beach Hotel

"There wasn't sponge and liquid detergent in kitchen to wash the dishes. The kitchen shelves were full with dust. The location is pretty far from the rest of the island. The beach is pebbled and too crowded. The location doesn't offer much to do, actually it's not a village...there is some tavernas, but they also were crowded and if you don't make reservation you can't find a place to eat."

"We stayed at the Villa Camelia a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful time. The villa is beautiful in every way. It has an amazing pool with fantastic views from the patio, particularly of the sunset. It is also very quiet in the day but not too far from restaurants and shops. The villa itself has everything you need and the daily maid service ensures it stays as beautiful as the day you arrive. The breakfasts were an amazing treat and Dina and Natasha couldn’t do enough for us and were great at recommending days out and restaurants to visit. (Amente restaurant was our favourite) I cannot recommend this Vila more highly."
