⭐ 1/10 — Absolutely unacceptable. Do NOT waste your money One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I would strongly advise people to stay away from this property. I booked this accommodation just yesterday, and the experience was so bad that I genuinely did not feel comfortable staying here. From the moment we entered, there was a strong unpleasant smell throughout the property, including the stairs and the room. The room itself was extremely small and far from what I expected from the pictures/listing. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The basin was visibly dirty and, as shown in my photographs, there appeared to be cigarette burns/remains in the basin. This is completely unacceptable for a room that has supposedly been prepared for a new guest. The condition of the bathroom made me feel genuinely sick. There were also NO TOWELS and NO SHOWER GEL provided when we arrived. These are basic necessities that any guest should reasonably expect to have available. The room and bathroom were so small and unpleasant that I honestly felt like I was going to puke. I could not relax or feel comfortable there. This is especially disappointing because the property listing and booking experience created completely different expectations. I paid for accommodation expecting a clean, usable and hygienic room, but what I encountered was completely unacceptable. I have photographic evidence of the condition of the bathroom, including the dirty basin and cigarette remains/burn marks, and I have raised the issues with the property. I am requesting a full refund because the accommodation was not in an acceptable condition for me to stay in. I do not believe guests should be expected to pay for a room that is presented in this condition. Save your money. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I would strongly suggest checking recent reviews carefully before booking. Very disappointing, unhygienic and completely unacceptable. 1/10.

Staff are friendly but the place needs great care and cleanliness. Street parking so make sure you comply to avoid getting tickets.

Absolutely terrible experience at Campbell House. The place is filthy and unhygienic. The bathroom is so tiny you can’t even turn around, and it was dirty with no shampoo, shower gel, or even basic soap provided. Cups are un clean, Only one towel was given for two people. The bed was unclean and uncomfortable. The person managing the property was extremely rude and treated guests with no respect at all — as if we were a burden rather than paying customers. Totally unhelpful and dismissive. This is one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. Save your money and avoid this place — it’s not worth it.

Very terrible service, everywhere is dirty, it stinks in there . Could not wait to get out there, I could not even shower, was scared to have one, no shower gel or shampoo. Toilet was very tiny and small, could not seat on the toilet and close the door.

Room was huge and very good if you travel in large groups, so would recommend it for that, however it was a shared bathroom. Guest house and rooms were clean, and the staff there was very pleasant and showed us around. For a last minute booking was just what we expected.

I believe this hotel make the trip Adviser with bad reputation. Dirty place, dirty carpet , and anti social behaviour. Not recommended to no one

Lovely last minute booking, the bed was amazingly comfortable, staff were very polite and helpful even after being bite by some dog. We will return
