"Lovely hotel in a great location with the city centre a short walk along the pretty New Walk. The staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel was clean and inviting and has parking. Our double room was so comfortable and our bed felt wider than a normal double which was great. We had an iron & ironing board along with hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was lovely, a mix of buffet and cooked to order with yoghurt, fruit, pastries, full English etc. Very tasty and service was excellent. I would recommend this hotel."

"Staff lovely. Room immaculate. Breakfast. Very disappointing. The Continental. Awful, shared fruit salad had seen better days, just mush. Stale bread and croissants. Barely any fruit. English. Very well done sausages and black pudding... Neither were enjoyable. Will not get a breakfast in a Premier Inn again."

"Expensive... £5.30 for a Pint, beer was nothing special and slightly cloudy. Other pubs close by in other villages that don't charge as much. If was normal prices would have stayed for more........... Shame really as is a nice pub. I guess as the only pub left in the village they think they can charge what they want."
