I did not expect my choice of this hotel was excellence on my first visit to Leshan. The location was very convenience to the Leshan Giant Buddha, ticketing and tour cart/bus just beside. It is 20mins from “Leshan” rail station by taxi, the taxi driver helped me to call the hotel to pick us up at the Leshan museum. The hotel’s staffs were very kind and friendly. Because we have to move to Emei Mountain in the next early morning at 7am. The hotel has prepared 2 sets of breakfast (picture attached) for my wife and I to take away, so we can have it in our taxi to Emei. The cleanliness was good too. The room deco and ambient were nice too.

The best hotel we’ve been in China so far! Clean, super helpful staff, including vegetarian breakfast, next to Leshan Giant Buddha. We also tried the vegetarian dinner which was also rich and healthy. They have a cute parrot at the front desk and let us try traditional Chinese clothes :) 5/5*

I was obsessed with this hotel and the area. There is a cafe about 15 minute walk that is so good and the staff is so sweet. Delicious and fun drinks. The community feels local even in such a tourist-focused area and it is very lively. When the taxi dropped me outside of the area, I was a little confused but the taxi driver was super helpful and spoke to the reception desk and they sent a golf cart to pick up my luggage and me. Looking back walking there would not be difficult just annoying if you have heavy luggage. If you are looking to the boat tour it is super convenient. Just go to the ticket purchasing building at the entrance on the left, go straight through to the golf carts (they call them buses), ride to the last stop, follow the crowd, buy a ticket for about 10usd, and take a short ride for the a complete view of the Buddha! Hotel is a 10/10 for me, wish I was there longer than one night. The bed and pillows were so nice.

Lovely little hotel - ideal location for those who want to get an early start when visiting Leshan Great Buddha to beat the massive noisy tour groups and resulting queues (which I would strongly recommend), just a stone’s throw from the ticket office. Service was great and whole place had a lovely calming vibe. Two minor quibbles (1) breakfast starts at 8, but park opens at 7:30, no ideal if want to eat before you go out (2) the whole place echoes and has quite poor sound insulation, so earplugs are strongly recommended for light sleepers. Aside from these two points, I think this is a great choice for anyone looking to spend a night in Leshan, rather than doing as a day trip from Chengdu. Was able to do both the hike up and boat tours before 12, before the hordes arrives, have a quick shower back at the hotel, and then catch the train back to Chengdu by early afternoon! Definitely best way to do it, and this is the perfect base.

Good service with friendly hotel crews. We enjoyed the short stay with great vegetarian breakfast. Highly recommended.

Stayed here to visit the Giant Buddha. The hotel is located in the scenic spot. The rooms are nice but not sure they are value for money considering the cost. Also, they start serving breakfast (which is included) AFTER Buddha opens which meant we couldn't utilise the breakfast as we wanted to beat the crowds. This seems pretty poor considering the cost of the hotel and the fact that it is clearly designed for those visiting the scenic spot. Overall, very nice but would probably stay in the main town next time and travel in.

Best stay in my visit to China. The staff were great. All the little luxury details made it so special. Especially loved the tea parlor. Calligraphy in the room was a cute touch. And departure gift. Breakfast was amazing. It was a moment from both the Big Buddha ferry and bus to the site. I can't say enough positive things about my stay. Thank you!

Very good and calm hotel. Located at the north entrance of the leshan Buddha park. The hotel will help you pick up on the nearest parking and cover the fees if you come with your car

Nice location in traditional style. Located directly at the entrance of great leshan Buddha. Therefore it’s easy to start very early before the majority of people arrive. Breakfast was a good mixture between Chinese and western. English works out. Rooms have all what you need for the usual one night stay. Restaurant I did not try but seemed to be nice. Small point, the cleaning in the bathroom could be better, unfortunately still many hair everywhere…

We arrived at night and it was a bit of a hussle to find the place. A member of the staff came to pick us up in a golf cart . It is an area with many hotels and the environment is very pleasant. The hotel didn't disappoint, nice decor, the room was very clean and comfortable. They provide robes and sort of pyjamas. From the Big Buddha it's a 20 mins walk, so pretty convenient.

Very cute hotel, quite convenient to the Buddha—only a short walk through the park to the entrance. Room was cozy and comfortable. There were kids being loud until late at night (past 23:00).
