We had to travel to Ireland from the U.K. last week for a family funeral. We were recommended to Briar Lodge and what a find. From the moment Trish answered the phone, she was nothing other than extremely helpful. Rooms spotless, great breakfast.

Trish is a treasure. So accommodating and caring. She can also provide many suggestions for sights to see. Rooms are very nice, bright and comfortable. All rooms have a private bathroom. Breakfast is wonderful with cereals, baked goods and hot food items. Convenient to Shannon Airport. Highly recommend a stay here.

We have been trying to come to Ireland since May, 2020. After the 4th time rescheduling due to COVID Restrictions, we finally made it!! We would like to especially send a "Thank You" to Trish for opening up her beautiful home/B&B. The room was just charming and her breakfast in the morning and general hospitality, just wonderful. Also, her husband was kind enough to drive us into town for dinner. She and her husband let us know that they would be able to pick us up, however we decided to walk back and stroll through the beautiful roads. Thank you again to Trish for hosting us and hoping to one day come back and stay. Would definitely recommend!! :)

A clean nice room on the first floor of the house, quiet and clean. The breakfast was delicious. Especially the mother of the landlady was very friendly and we could have a nice chat with her. Thanks to her we had a delicious meal in the pub next to the castle. Thanks for this tip.
