It is indeed a high-end hotel with first-class service👍🏻Breakfast is the specialty of this hotel. There are musicians playing and singing. It is worth mentioning that breakfast is in two rooms (at first I thought there were only desserts on the piano, but then I found out that there was another one on the stairs) There are yogurt and ham on the side), the view in the o1 room is very good, recommended!

I read online reviews about this hotel saying it has characteristics, and I thought it was ancient and quaint. Now after staying here, I feel that it is just old, not only the lighting is dim, but also a little unclean. This time we found hair in the bathrobe, and we seriously suspect that they did not clean it properly. The room equipment is also very old. There are only two plugs on the floor near the door, which are very far from the bed and very inconvenient. The air conditioner in the room has been adjusted to the highest temperature of 30 degrees, but it is still not cold at all. The shower head in the shower room is also stuck and cannot be pulled out every time it is used. I reported it to the hotel and found two staff members. When they came, they said it was normal and they thought there was no problem at all. The attitude is very bad, and there is no attitude of apology at all. And I saw other comments saying, "I was robbed in this hotel, and they are also shirking responsibility. Really at this price, this hotel is really not worth it.

Simply amazing.
Great location, 3 minutes to the metro.
20 minutes to the harbour and all down hill.
Staff are very friendly and accomidating.
Everyone speaks English

We booked our last night in Lisbon at Palacio das Especiarias and what a special stay it was. We were greeted by extremely helpful staff at the door dressed in period attire. After an evening walking about in the pouring rain, we were able to relax and dry out by the fireplace in the sitting room. There is such attention to detail in all the rooms. Our room was attached to a small courtyard which was so charming! We had a delicious breakfast which was served over 3 different dining areas. Tea, fruit and pastries were always availabe to snack on. It was honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed in, in all my travels.

The hotel is beautiful, charming and lovely. The room has character. Plenty of common areas to read a book, hang out, and enjoy the hotel.
The personnel is kind, charming, attentive, helpful, and extremely friendly.
This is the type of hotel I would return when visiting Lisbon.

Was drawn to this property because of the history and unique decorating of each room. Located in a convenient neighbourhood in old town. Staff were always welcoming and helpful. Room nicely appointed, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight! Great variety and quality. Sauna and roman bath was an added bonus! Wine tasting too. Would definitely stay here again!
