As I travelled in London, I was glad to find excellent customer service where ever I went. This hotel was a total opposite. After 5 hours in a hot bus, we arrived at the hotel to meet unkind stuff member who just pointed at the stairs and told us ”no elevator” and offered no help for us to get our luggage in the room upstairs. That was a bummer. The room was tiny but clean. Not the most convenient, since there were two beds and only one night table so other bed had no space to put anything into. We only had two towels and had to ask for a hand towel. There was no closet space, and hangars were placed above the electric kettle, so no use for them. There was a bar downstairs, so the noise was quite loud, and the door of the hotel was in the terrace area of the bar. Wouldn't recommend when travelling with kids. Best thing in the room was the air conditioning, which worked really well and kept our room cool during the heat outside.

Thought the reviews looked really good so me and my husband booked this as an overnight stay in London. I was really disappointed and the photos are so misrepresenting!! There were yellow pillows underneath the pillow cases, mould all in the grouting in the bathroom and the odd hairs here and there including in one of our towels! The photos were really sold for it to look much more luxurious than it did. The small double room was so dinky you could hardly move around. And it wasn’t pleasant brushing your teeth with hairs and what not in the sink plug hole. The air con only worked in the summer we were told which is a shame if it’s there fixed to the wall to be used. Some of the tiles in the bathroom ceiling looked like they were going to fall through and the front door to our room looked battered and chipped badly. The chairs in the lounge part when you walked in had seen better days and the material was all falling apart! The fan in the bathroom didn’t work and looked absolutely filthy so no wonder there was mould and damp coming into the room! For a place that has recently been renovated it was pretty poorly done. Too expensive for what you received and not really good enough. It is a real shame as the host was really attentive by text and email and the communication was really good which I cannot fault. It was clear where the key was left and the area was lovely and quiet. But based on the room and en-suite we would not stay here again.

Very close to the subway station, there is a good breakfast, room hygiene and facilities are good, there is a kettle, the curtains can not be pulled, the disadvantage is that the room is small, the single bed is very narrow, fat people may not be enough size. However, this price is OK.

Very pleased to get a room here, as London seemed busy at the time. Parking availability was excellent, and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere in reception and the dining area. It was bright, modern and appealing. The most memorable part of the stay was contact with the Duty Manager - a real character who is a comic tour-de-force. His quirky personality was reflected in the erratic layout in some areas of the hotel. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with one very pleasant and helpful member of staff, and one other who was sullen and swathed in a large anorak. The room was pleasant enough - the description of ”small double” was certainly accurate. I think the amount advertised for this on the website would be fair, but not the sum I was charged - and I understand this was discounted from the usual price. The wiring, though I have no reason to think it was unsafe, was untidy and hard to locate which switch related to whick appliance. The view from the window was uninspiring. I was told the room had been re-decorated within the past year which alarmed me, if evidence of mould in the bathroom had appeared in so short a time. I experience a ”prickly” feeling in nose and throat at the end of the stay and a few days afterwards - perhaps coincidence admittedly.

Stayed for the second time, I feel very kind, my English is not very good, the service staff is very responsible. Breakfast is very generous, in addition to omelettes and toasts, it is full every day. Close to the subway station, easy to eat and supermarket nearby. There are also Chinese restaurants, and the taste is ok. I like to live here. The room is relatively comfortable, quiet and safe.

I recently stayed at the King Solomon Hotel for a business trip, and I must say, it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The staff were so attentive and accommodating, and the rooms were well-appointed. I particularly appreciated the free internet, which was essential for my work. I will definitely be staying here again!”
