Very nice "Boutique" style hotel in Nulu. Walking distance to many local restaurants and bars.
Room decoration was excellent - nice and colorful. But found the room a bit dark in the evening.
Upstairs 6th floor bar and lounge was excellent - server Lee was superb!
And a hotel suited more for leisure and vacation travelers. Breakfast service does not start until 8:00 am, and was on the slow side. And no in-room coffee.
So would highly recommend for a leisure stay in Louisville - would re-think for a business stay.

Hotel Genevieve is where I’ll stay from now on in Louisville. It’s such a rad place. Lots of beautiful art, great staff, excellent location, wonderful rooftop bar with great views! Loved everything about this place.

Cool hotel. Wish I had a desk as I was there for evening events and had nowhere to work during the day. Bed was comfortable, but kind of like sleeping in a bean bag chair or an 80s water bed. Rooftop bar closed Sun-Tues, so didn't get to see one of the main reasons I booked the hotel.
Location is FANTASTIC. Tons of great local restaurants.

So adorable! Rosettes is the restaurant downstairs and I had literally the best breakfast I've had all year there. So yummy! Loved staying here and hope I can come back next time.

I hesitate to give a bad review for a hotel with wonderful staff, but my gosh, the rooms are SO DARK. We had 3 tiny accent lamps, and even the bathroom was dimly lit. The art deco tile bathroom was spotless, and the beds were comfy. I loved the sweet gesture of robes, but they were so, so wrinkled and tattered. Great location. If you are looking for a boutique art deco vibe, lean into it, but bring a lamp.

Initially I was provided room 315 which was neighboring a night club. The same fate is for all rooms on all floors and with uneven numbers. When I returned to the room at night, the nightclub music was so loud and the bass so strong that sleeping and rest was impossible. Upon my complaint they changed the room to 224, only for me to find the heating system not working in the new room. In addition, down the hall people were having a room party till 5 am in the morning. The next morning, I asked guest service for a refund. The manager was not on location and I was promised that he would call me within a day. That never happened either. The restaurant on the first floor (french style) was out of several dishes for dinner as well. Obviously, the management does not care. It was a lousy hotel, not worth a dime.

This hotel is super cute!! The vibe is amazing! The rooftop bar has the best servers and bartenders. Everywhere is perfect for a picture! The only down side was the lighting in the room. Perfect for the vibe, but not the best for getting ready. Will definitely stay here again!!
