Luang Prabang Hotels with Airport pickup service

Environment: rice fields, cicadas chirping, but no mosquitoes beside the paddy fields. Waking up early to bask in the warmth of the swimming pool with a hint of coolness in the morning, looking at the green rice fields, the mist-shrouded mountains in the distance, the clear blue sky and white clouds, I felt that there was a vivid memory on my life list. Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip. Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles. Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.

I chose his house because of the awesome retro style, In addition, the reviews of his hotel in Phuket are not bad, Booked without much hesitation. When we check in, we plan to charter a boat to cruise the Mekong River. See us come back for another dramatic face-changing, Turned around and said ”304, 305” to the front desk and walked away. The front desk is quite enthusiastic, Helped us send our luggage to the room, and gave a detailed introduction to the room, This is the first unpleasant experience in this hotel. Since his SPA is very famous in Luang Prabang, I booked a package with SPA when booking, When checking in, the front desk did not ask if an appointment was required. Then I remembered to make an appointment with the front desk, I was told that the appointment was over for the day, Because we will leave Luang Prabang at noon the next day, So I made an appointment until 9 o'clock in the morning the next day, In the end, he came to us that night and told us, It was full the next morning, Can only choose noon, So we don't have time to do this project, The front desk said that his authority was powerless, We can communicate with the manager the next day. We raised this issue with the manager when we checked out the next day (turns out the lady was the manager yesterday), She offered to give us a bottle of red wine, I feel that she is really obsessed with red wine, Although his family's wine selection is not bad, But this treatment is not satisfactory. We said we don't need this bottle of red wine, And we are two rooms, She also offered to take us to the train station as compensation. Due to time constraints, I don't want to be too entangled, can only agree. Before she left, she asked me for a photo of yesterday in the wine storage room, It turned out to be waiting here. When having breakfast in the morning, We are an unsolicited menu, After we sat down, two white men came to the next table, The same waiter delivered the menu enthusiastically, And kindly asked them how their day was, That flattering look made me feel a little sick. The female manager was also in the restaurant at the time, When the food is served, the whole face is expressionless, The sound of placing the plates is very loud. This should not be the quality of a hotel manager. In short, This hotel licks white very badly, I saw that many domestic residents had similar experiences in his home, Send it out to let everyone avoid the pit, His price and service are very mismatched, There are a lot of good hotels in Luang Prabang, There is really no need to spend money at his house to find happiness.

When our driver pulled up to the hotel by a rickety bridge over the river, we were a bit nervous as the hotel looks tiny from the outside. What we thought was the hotel was actually the lobby and the hotel is actually quite large and sprawling with buildings and bungalows scattered next to the river. The hotel has a lovely infinity pool by the river with a lounge chairs, beach towels and an affordable pool bar with snacks for sale. The rooms were spacious with large balconies. The toilet was by the front door so you had to exit the WC walk around the corner to the bathroom to wash your hands - sort of a weird set up, but did help in the morning for 2 people to get ready. This was the only hotel we stayed in with dual sinks and a long vanity so excellent for 2 travelers and a big plus! The shower was a walk in so east access. The hotel also has a restaurant where breakfast (included) is served in the morning. Unfortunately it was a buffet with limited options and the food that was supposed to be hot was always cold and unappetizing. The hotel uses tiny candles to try to keep the food warm but this method does not work at all. The hotel no longer has a shuttle to town which is a negative as you need to walk across a scary rickety bridge to get to town. The hotel does not have a gym which is a requirement, in my opinion, if you want to be a 5 star resort. My only other comment to management is to find a few better English speaking employees as we had difficulty communicating with staff. Yes we know we are in Laos and should learn to speak their language but I feel when you cater to tourists you need a few people in each area to speak the universal language for business. We did enjoy our stay and can recommend this hotel to others.

It was our first time in Luang Prabang, and we picked Kiridara based on other reviews. Rest-assured, it was a smart choice. The location was great. While not in the center, there is a market super close and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. For the rest the hotel offers a free shuttle which is on call until about 9 pm, and takes you more or less everywhere you need to go. The rooms were clean, nicely layed out and offered everything you need. If something was wrong, it was fixed quickly. The pool was refreshing and offered a great view. The drinks from then pool bar were delicious. The highlight was the breakfast. There was a small, but nice buffet plus a menu. The a la carte menu was the biggest plus. You could pick up to four dishes, each from one category, like eggs, hearty or sweet. Be sure to eat yourself through all the options, while you stay - it‘s worth it! All in all a great stay, and we will come back to Kiridara for sure for our next stay.

Very restful, relaxing hotel in a good position for exploring the nearby night market. Easy to organise transport locally but the hotel gave us a free ride to the night market when I wanted to go. ( I have difficulty walking too far) Our room was peaceful, spacious and clean. The pool area is good and offers bean bags or chairs to sit in. The spa is readily available. The breakfast is served in an outdoor, covered long room and the dining area is always busy with a good choice of dishes. The unusual aspect of this residence is the number of lotus ponds and abundance of greenery everywhere which are a UNESCO listed feature. I wouldn’t necessarily choose this hotel for young children but for older children or couples it would be hard to beat for character and history.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the Sofitel team in Luang Prabang for creating such a warm, welcoming and accommodating stay. Across all departments, the staff went above and beyond, and collectively set a new standard for Service. Most notably Vard, Leng, Mr. Kao and Youth at the front desk, Mr. Umni, Keili and Souk from F&B and Mr. Anshul Sharma, the hotel Manager, who has done an exceptional job at leading the team and making the Sofitel, Luang Prabang a must stay haven in South East Asia. The hotel grounds were picturesque and serene, the rooms tastefully designed with ample space to luxuriate, the food (particularly breakfast) at Governors Grill delicious and fresh. But above all, the service was unlike any hotel I have stayed. From remembering the small details of our personal preferences, to recommending the best activities and experiences, to assisting with a medical emergency - my partner and I felt truly cared for. I am deeply grateful for such a beautiful and memorable Christmas and New Year, and we already look forward to our return!

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Certainly the service was the best I’ve ever experienced. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left it was a fantastic experience. When we arrived we were checked in by Kampoot who was fantastic the whole week. He was always willing to stop and chat and help us with recommendations. Kampoot is a credit to this hotel. The location itself is perfect. With mountains either side and a view of the whole town. The pool is great to cool off in and the food at the pool was excellent. The pizza and pad gaprao were among our favourites. The breakfast had a great selection and the staff were all very attentive. Thongpan served us very well. The room was nice and clean and we had a good view. The only issue was the shower was a little on the hot side and when moved to cold it didn’t really have much power. But apart from this it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back. A big thank you also to Lovansinh also on the front desk. She was so friendly and polite. Also at the pool Boonsong and Sengdao looked after us very well all week.

The hotel was clean, employees were very helpful and kind. They had refreshments already in our rooms which was very convenient and the best part was they can check in our bags, weight, and get the luggage tag being they had connections we Lao Airlines. That was definitely a plus. We didn’t have to rush to try to get in our bag at all and they take you back to the airport and make sure we knew where we needed to go. I would definitely try this hotel to anyone.

I really loved this place, felt very family run and personal, nothing was too much trouble. It is a little out of the centre but the free shuttle is perfect and tuk tuks easy to get if the times don’t suit. All the staff were super friendly especially Pinky on reception who was always there to greet you. I notice there are lots if comments about breakfast but having been travelling around south east Asia this was by far the best breakfast I’ve had and well worth the money. It’s cooked fresh for you so piping hot too! I would definitely recommend this place, it’s a little gem!

I could not have been more happy with my stay. A peaceful oasis located a very short distance from the night market and other amazing attractions. The breakfasts were fantastic. Fresh fruits, juices, Lao coffee, vegatables, eggs, breads (and more) every morning. The staff made me feel very comfortable. Always greeting me with respect and huge smiles. After a long day of teaching English I could not wait to get “home” and unwind by the pool with a good book. Thank you again to the entire staff for a memorable stay. Ajan Matt
