Everybody please don’t come to this looks like ghost place. The room we booked was completely different from what was shown online ,when we complained what they said. They ask us pay more 200 Eurpe then can go more better room. We can't cancel or change to another room. If we need to change, we have to pay more 💶. We didn’t live this ghost hotel, I will not recommend any of my friends to come here, and will tell them how bad the attitude of the hotel staff here is, not to give customers satisfactory service experience, such a business will not be good in future.

The hotel is on the mountain, and you can't see the lake. You can only get there by taxi. It's tiring to walk up the mountain. I didn't know until I got there that a 3-year-old child had to pay an additional 80 Swiss francs to stay. They also said that they only allow one person to stay in this hotel, and if you add another person, you have to pay extra. They required that you must pay, otherwise you won't be allowed to stay. I communicated with Ctrip but it didn't work. At that time, I couldn't change hotels, so I had to pay 80 Swiss francs to stay, which was about 640 yuan more. The regulations didn't say that children had to pay at that time. It's a rip-off. The facilities of this hotel are also very old and dirty everywhere. Don't stay in this hotel. In the end, there was no way to refund the extra 80 Swiss francs I paid. Oh, it's a rip-off!

The accommodation is top notch in all areas. The only thing that irritated us a little at the beginning was the unattended reception. But the online check-in worked really well. We were able to get into our room at 2 p.m. instead of 3 p.m. As we wanted separate beds and these were only available in the higher category, we were simply "upgraded", simply top notch. The extra bed for our 5-year-old daughter was also super comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and the daily cleaning was great. We are and were simply delighted. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely welcome.

Excellent hotel located in the hilly area of Lugano. Not very convenient for those traveling without a car but with a connection via bus during the day and a free shuttle service made available by the hotel at specific times. Beautiful garden with swimming pool and also access to the swimming pool of the adjacent Villa. Very large and comfortable rooms. Quite varied international breakfast.

very nice and spacious room, very quiet and splendid place, surrounded by greenery! excellent privacy.... the abundant breakfast is provided at the adjacent 5* Villa Principe Leopoldo, in an enchanting setting, with a breathtaking view of the lake! if it were included in the price, it would truly be heaven 😀instead, it must be paid separately.....after all, in this world you can't have everything 😉😉 a hotel worth considering, it deserves it!

The room we were given was exactly the same we were in early 2000s nothing changed except everything had gotten old and shabby! I could not believe the hotel has 4 stars! One had to have a zero respect for a customer to not renovate a hotel room for over 20 years in a developed country! And a 4 star hotel! Please examine the pictures! We paid close to 1000 chf for three days! Now please see the breakfast! Perhaps the level of a 3 star in Italy? Cheap products, old, old, old furniture, smells of old moquette carpets on the floor! The restaurant in Principe Leopoldo, the relais et chateau one had the most boring beaten track menu with most skyrocketed prices! What a Disappointment!!! When we complained about the room, we were offered a cheap Prosecco, which we refused! Never again for us!

The Park Hotel is family friendly and suitable for longer visits (we stayed a week). Rooms are generous, the pool is large and heated and an ample breakfast buffet can be included with the room. (recommended). There is also an expensive dinner buffet (not recommended) and a pizza option for dinner (recommended). A coffee and snack machine are located in the lobby and a small fridge and electric tea pot are in each room. Our room (122) was dated, with poor lighting and few outlets for electronic charging. In the bath, the tub's glass shower panel was inadequately sized to contain water in the tub, so the room got showered along with us. Bath towels were worn. No washcloths were provided. The room overlooked the hotel entrance and parking lot. Despite the huge sitting room window wall, we were exposed to all hotel visitors. We kept the sheer drapes closed. A privacy film on the window or darkened glass would have helped. In general, the hotel layout is weird. It is notched into a slope with long, dark, single loaded corridors, room numbers are not sequential, and it is difficult to walk between floors or access the ample and lovely grounds. I would stay here again, but get an updated room that overlooks the pool and has a private outdoor seating area. This hotel is associated with the 5-star Villa Principe Leopoldo across the street, but is not the same hotel. Pros: If staying at the Park Hotel, you can book one of the best meals in Lugano at the Villa Principe restaurant and/or enjoy wonderful cocktails and a more interesting bar menu for lunch and dinner at the same eye-popping view terrace. Park Hotel guests can also book massages at the Villa's spa. Cons: The Villa's desk is staffed, the Park Hotel's desk is self-check-in, with limited staff hours. Guests are connected to the Villa's switch board for assistance, who will tell you to wait until staff eventually shows up at the Park Hotel. ASK for a free bus and train pass, and a separate key to the health center, which are not covered during the self-check-in process. Hotel location: Walking 20-30 minutes downhill to Lugano is OK, but walking uphill to get back is another matter. Without a car, a taxi costs around 25 swiss francs per trip. (The most reliable location to find taxis is the train station. ) Do you need a car? Maybe. There is ample parking at the Park Hotel, but Swiss car rentals are expensive. It also depends upon what you want to do and where you what to go. The free bus and train pass included with the hotel room makes local travel easy but also slow, with a lot of time waiting for connections. Not having a car wasn't a logistics issue for our itinerary. Our taxi use was probably cheaper, or no more expensive than, a car rental.

The arrival is unwelcoming and impersonal. We didn’t even get a smile, much less any information to the amenities. I was then sent on an odyssey to find the room down a confusing maze of corridors, overly decorated with scores of faux Roman busts. The room itself was a very good size but the decor faded and scratched. The carpet stained, the air con noisy. One of the chairs was broken. The style is smart late 1980’s, certainly not to current styles. There is a peculiar little kitchenette but without anything to make use of it. Not even a kettle, much less any complimentary coffee or tea which I would expect at the price. On the first night we slept on pillows that were hard like bags of flower, the second night I requested softer pillows which were provided. There isn’t a shower, merely a shower attachment in the bath and flimsy plastic cups instead of proper glasses for toothbrushes. The breakfast was included and is standard Swiss buffet, adequate but nothing special. Especially the reconstituted catering scrambled egg was disappointing. What makes this hotel, is the beautifully kept garden and well maintained pool area. But generally speaking, I feel this is quite overpriced and not good value for money.

Air conditioning sounds like a truck beside the bed. The beds was hard as concrete. We complaint, but no response from staff. The park and pool area was nice and pool was heated up. Quite long walk to city center

The room itself was excellent, very spacious. Bathroom was outdated and couch was old. Hotel is a bit dated as well. Parking was not well defined, but was in attached garage. Main issue was lack of onsite front desk personnel. We only saw someone there when we checked in, and then no one for 3-days, including at check out. Assistance was a phone at front desk. This is a satellite to luxury hotel across street.
