Fairmont Doha

The hotel is luxurious and grand, and the overall service is excellent. Kita at the front desk was very welcoming during my check-in and even upgraded me to a sea-view room for free. The room itself is beautiful, though the outside of the window glass was a bit dirty. The welcome fruit was delicious, and there are seats in the elevator, which is a nice touch! The butler service was also very attentive, especially Rama and Mago, who deserve special commendation.

The bathroom counter is a bit small, but the high-tech amenities are great! Plus, there's a huge balcony with an unbeatable sea view, which is fantastic! We received complimentary fruit and a high-end coffee machine (even though I don't drink coffee), and unlimited free water. Breakfast can be ordered à la carte!

My itinerary was planned with the first three days in the old city to easily visit attractions, and the last two days at the Fairmont for a pure vacation experience. I can truly say that the two nights at the Fairmont really put a perfect end to this trip to Doha. The Fairmont Doha not only offers impeccable service and environment, but it's also excellent value for money. Whether walking or taking a car, the security guards at the entrance always verify identity. Of course, Doha itself has superb public safety, so the sense of security is outstanding. The front desk staff were dedicated and friendly, patiently answering all my questions. They even helped me carry two sturdy large bags after I returned from shopping, which was a huge help. On a side note, you absolutely *must* visit the Fairmont spa; staying here and not experiencing the spa is like getting only 70% of the accommodation experience. My only regret was that the hotel's restaurants were fully booked for private events during my two-day stay, so I couldn't dine in. However, the in-room dining food was excellent, and the prices weren't as outrageous as in London or Tokyo. I plan to visit Qatar again in the future, and next time, I'll definitely arrange for the last few days of my trip to be at the Fairmont again.
