AC Hotel Atocha Reviews

It's very close to Atochia Mardid Train station, take 10 min. walk and also close to Metro station.

The hotel is quite comfortable despite having a simple/basic layout. The location is also quite good. The room is clean, but the bathroom is not very spacious (seriously). The service is adequate, and sufficiently professional. The price is a bit on the high end but it seems that most of Madrid is facing housing shortages. Overall, it's a decent hotel but slightly less affordable.

The hotel location is very convenient, just take couple minutes from Atocha station. Staffs are very professional and polite. Room is clean and spacious

Great for a stopover night if you want to travel elsewhere with its proximity to Atocha. Located in a quieter part of Madrid but close to the hustle and bustle.

The hotel is divided into 2 wings and if you are carrying a lot of bags you may have some problems with carrying them to your room.

The location is not that close to the Atocha station as we thought. The room is very large and confortable, however, it is pity that they could not offer us a late check-out.

Location is great and close to Atocha train station also couples of Metro stations. Easy to commute to key tourist attractions. Number of restaurant options and local super markets are nearby. Room setup and amenities are less than standard due to sustainability initiatives. Breakfast options are a relatively simple but enough.

The room facilities were shabby and smelled musty. The receptionist was expressionless, like we owed them eight million. They claimed it was part of the Marriott system, but it was worse than a budget hotel in China.

The room was very clean and it was close to Atocha Station. Although it was close to the station, the station itself was quite large, so it was difficult to move around with a suitcase, even though it was close. The hotel was very clean and the food was delicious. They don't provide slippers, so it's a good idea to bring your own.

The room was generally okay, the shower was very bright and airy, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The breakfast was rather disappointing and not worth the effort.

During peak tourist season, prices are naturally high. However, the location is excellent and quiet. If traveling by train, it's very convenient; just turn left from the hotel towards the train station and you'll see many people carrying luggage coming and going. Also, it's recommended to buy water at a supermarket near the hotel beforehand, as it's very expensive at the station!
