The house reef is excellent no motorized water sports to interfere with the enjoyment of the reef. The coral is in great shape. The facility was in great shape small and personalized. Wall around the island barefoot in the shady canopy of the tropical foliage. Very quiet and private. But what really makes this the must return to vacation spot is the staff. Always greeting you with a smile and a helpful attitude. No tourist fatigue here. From the moment you land in Male' until you are on the pier you are greeted with genuine warmth and great care is given to see to your comfort and well being. The food service is excellent, the spa is magical and management mingles to make sure you are enjoying the experience. In 40 years of luxury travel this is one of the top two destinations. We hope to return annually.

We arrived at this hotel and were blown away by the beauty of the area. We stayed in an over the water bungalow, and the reef was active and alive all around us. We were able to snorkel directly below the bungalow. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. They made our stay very special and deserve the real recognition for making our stay so exceptional. The restaurant and bar manager Avnish, Sandeep the chef, and Shubankar the barman went above and beyond, with care and attention to detail regarding the food and drinks. The hotel in its current state is ideal for couples, and adults, but slightly less so for kids. Would highly recommend for a visit.

Pros Absolutely stunning hotel. We stayed in the beach rooms and were so glad, they're shady and larger than the over water bungalows. We loved the outdoor shower and virtually private beach with snorkling just steps away. Cons The commute here is LONG. You will spend a day getting here and leaving.

This resort is truly paradise on earth. The most beautiful setting, it beats the pictures when you see it in person. Everything from pickup to exit and everything in between is handled with meticulous care and detail. The pools, the beach, the diving center, the breakfast, the restaurants, the villas - everything was perfect. The design of the island resorts villas ensures privacy for all residents. The staff is supremely responsive, very customer-oriented and the hospitality they extend is the best I have seen in many years of travel. The Wifi quality was excellent which was a surprise given the remoteness of the island and was appreciated. Would highly recommend and congratulations to everyone involved in the administration and the operations because they do deliver an amazing experience for the customers.

We just completed 5 day stay celebrating our 20th anniversary! Our stay was outstanding!!! It was totally worth a long trip (3 flights and a boat ride). We really loved how private the resort is. Everything was perfect…the island, the atmosphere, the resort, the customer service, the food! We stayed in the beach pool villa with a private beach. It was so relaxing, NO single soul around! Loved it and can’t wait to go back!

One of the best destinations we have ever been; dream island, top top service teams; Shahum -our host -always one step ahead - we felt mega comfortable and will return. The perfect hideaway for couples.

Could not recommend this resort and this experience any more highly. I travel a lot and stay at a lot of Hyatts — this experience was absolutely second to none. My significant other and I were fortunate enough to spend 8 lovely nights on Hadahaa. I chose this destination due to the incredible diving, and was not disappointed. The dive experience is top notch, as you already know if you are a diver. I was shocked to find myself as the only diver on the dive boat every day except my last — during peak dive season for this atoll. Blue Journeys, the in-house dive operation, is excellent. I greatly appreciated that they joyfully took me out diving as the only customer day after day, when many operations would have cancelled my dives. I also appreciated that they gave me excellent continuity with dive master and team. I dove with Jai daily, and could not speak any more highly of a DM. He was kind, skilled, and very fun. I splurged on the tiger shark dive and Jai also accompanied me on this experience. I hope to dive with him again someday, I certainly feel I have made a new dive friend. Especially appreciate his kindness videoing our dives, I left my own camera on the boat but still enjoyed amazing footage. I was also able to do some shore dives — do not underestimate the house reef. Gorgeous. I dove with Jai and the head of the dive shop one day — while completely unaware that one of the women I dove with was also the owner of the island. Kind, humble, conservation-minded. Thank you. ❤️ Something that was unexpected to me at a resort of such luxury was the authentic desire of the staff to share their culture. As the dive team could tell I had the interest, we were sometimes able to visit local islands on our surface interval. They treated me to coffee at a local shop, and the captain twice climbed palm trees to provide me with a fresh coconut. I was able to meet some of the captain’s family, including his wife and young daughters, and was gifted a banana milk to drink alongside his adorable nephew. His mother-in-law gifted me chilis she picked from her bushes in front of me as the captain climbed the palm tree. Who would have expected this local experience at a 5 star resort? And truly, it was 5 star. I have never had such a luxurious experience that was also so clearly authentic and from the heart. Our host, Shamin, must be one of the most excellent staff members they have ever had. I hold Hyatt globalist status and am unsure if he has been hand-chosen for globalists, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this were the case. I am certain all the hosts are excellent but I could not imagine anyone better suited to this role. Zero room for improvement — if he does not already, he should train hosts! We were worried about traveling from London with our 6 month old baby for the stay but the Park Hyatt did everything to accommodate. They set us up with all baby essentials including crib, bath, diapers, special IT/wifi for the baby camera and more. We had an amazing relaxing holiday because of the attentiveness of the staff and all the help. I would not hesitate bringing young babies to the resort as they were well equipped to handle! My only downsides would be the travel to get out there with the 1 hour domestic flight and boat being at the mercy of the domestic flight schedule for potential layovers. The flight and boat ride itself are very enjoyable and an experience in itself. The food overall was average I thought but the breakfast was very good!
