Constance Moofushi

From the moment the sea plane landed we were made to feel very special. It was like we were being welcomed to paradise by people who loved being there. Alison greeted us and showed us around the island and to our room. We had booked a beachfront villa and initially had reservations as we are sun worshipers and we got no sun in the garden. However we loved the room! It was rustic and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the softest best pillows we’ve ever slept on ( I want some for home!)The bathroom had two sinks a separate toilet and a wonderful outdoor shower. Our housekeeper Nazeeh was incredible. He checked with us on the first night for any special requirements,including customizing the mini bar to the items we wanted each day. He kept the villa inside and out spotless. The decoration he made on the bed for my husbands birthday was simply stunning. The island is stunning and everywhere so clean and tidy. The house reefs were great for novice snorkels. BD and Tiger looked after us at the water sports hut and taught us to paddle board. There were free excursions. We did the dolphin trip which was fabulous. We were supposed to be doing a sunset cruise but due to bad weather it had to be cancelled :-( The staff are all so friendly and helpful and always smiling. There are so many we could name as they were all brilliant! Most of them knew our names from day 1 and some of them Gopan,Nithin,Afraadh,Shaan and others knew what we liked to drink. The food was amazing. We normally don’t like buffets and prefer a la carte but the buffet here at breakfast,lunch and dinner was always great. Each night there was a different theme. Binju greeted us (such an asset to the resort) she knew where we liked to sit and always had time for a chat with us. A special mention to Priantha the head pastry chef (we don’t normally eat desserts) but the freshly made delicacies drew us in every meal time - every item we tried was delicious. If you like wine this is the place to visit. There is so much choice on the all inclusive menus. At each mealtime a sommelier comes to your table to discuss what you’re eating and then recommends a wine for you to try either by the glass or you can have a bottle in an ice bucket. You won’t be wanting/waiting for your glass to be refilled here.champagne is also included. A big thank you to Madu and his fabulous team. The island pays so much detail to ensuring all the guests are happy. We found there were numerous occasions where the resort laid on extras to make us feel special. At Aleeze restaurant Ritty was very chatty and attentive. Each time we dined there he got the chef to make an extra dish for us to try. He also ensured our moonlight dinner on the beach was special. It was my husbands birthday and we paid extra for the experience and it was so worth it. A very memorable evening. Just returned from Constance Moofushi and was over the moon with the resort and the staff who are absolutely lovely. We had an over water villa and regularly saw Manta rays swimming by. The beaches are stunning as is the food and bar areas. The gym is also very good indeed. I can honestly that this is the best holiday destination I have ever been. Absolutely stunning.

An absolutely amazing place. Our second visit and Constance Moofushi is as good as it gets. Beautiful, personal, world class and simply the best. My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here in 2022 and it was a pleasure to return in 2024 to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment the seaplane lands and you see the smiling staff waving to you with a warm welcome, the sense of homecoming begins. We had the most fantastic time. The restaurants, the wonderful food and wine, the spa, all the activities and trips, all encompassed by the sheer beauty of the island, make this our special place in the world. But what takes this to another dimension of world class is by far, the staff. Every single person who works here cannot do enough for you. You genuinely sense the friendship, happiness and pleasure of being part of the Constance Moofushi family. We could mention so many of the team, but in particular we’d like to thank: Mevin and Manjula - wow you both have created a team that is proud to represent you. As well your dedication to us and every single guest, you have created a world class mentality for which you should be very proud. Maix - you are an absolute superstar. Your humour, your dedication and the love with which you looked after us was special. Thank you and good luck with your upcoming wedding. Dileep - you are a wonderful chef! Thank you so much for looking after us and ensuring, that as a vegetarian, you looked after me. We will always remember your beaming smile. Sam - you are a legend. The standard you set and the dedication with which you apply yourself is fantastic. Gopan - your memory is amazing. Thank you so much for the way you looked after us. You are top man. Ruwan - thank you for all that you did for us. You are brilliant at what you do. Spa Team - gracious and attentive. Relaxation at its best! Totem Bar Team - kind, funny and top service. Housekeeping Team - for looking after us and our temporary home so beautifully. We could go on and on! In our minds, you are all superstars. For anyone considering a visit to The Maldives, we highly recommend Constance Moofushi. We have visited many wonderful places in the world, staying in some fabulous places. This is our second holiday at Constance Moofushi. We absolutely love it! We really enjoy snorkelling and the house reefs do not disappoint. However, Ismail, who cleaned our room twice a day was a complete star. I also have to mention Mauro who took 4 of us out to a wonderful reef . It was truly remarkable and we were looked after superbly by Mauro and his team. Thank you to everyone at Constance Moofushi for making our stay so memorable. We hope to be back!! Sara U

We were the 3rd time at the Moofushi and it just gets better each time. All the staff has passion to make you feel at home. The house riff is great, we did see a lot of fish. And you have a great selection of different wine included in the all-inclusive package and great sommeliers to recommend you the right wine. I hope we will be back soon!

Our 8th visit to the Maldives and 3rd to Constance Moofushi, and once again, it excelled in every aspect! If you're wondering whether to book this hotel, please don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it, and I’m sure, like us, they’ll have you returning time and time again! Your journey starts at Male airport, where a Constance representative meets you, kindly takes your bags, and escorts you to the seaplane check-in area. They handle the check-in process and baggage drop-off with the seaplane staff, so you don't have to lift a finger! This is such a nice touch after a long flight. The hotel representatives are so friendly and kind. They then take you to the Constance minivan, where it’s a 5-minute journey to the seaplane terminal and Constance lounge. Here they will inform you of your scheduled seaplane departure time, so you know how long you have in the lounge. They offer a great array of refreshments and snacks, provide cold towels upon arrival, and you can freshen up with a shower if you please. They will then inform you when your seaplane is ready, so you don't have to worry about constantly checking the time. The seaplane experience is a MUST when in the Maldives. Moofushi is a 25-minute seaplane journey from Male, and you get to see lots of different hotels and islands, which is very interesting and makes for picturesque photos. You’re greeted by waving staff when you land, which just creates the homely feel Moofushi strives to create. We were welcomed by the lovely Manjoola (assistant GM) on arrival. Manjoola and Mevin (GM) are such lovely people and are always around if you need anything or just want to chat, which is really nice to see such high managerial roles present throughout your stay. Thanks for the aperitif as well, Mevin; we'll have to do it again next year 🥂 We arrived at the hotel mid-morning, and they had both of our villas ready and placed us next door to each other, which were both such lovely touches! We stayed in 2 Water Villas as there are 4 of us, and we would definitely recommend this category. You wake up to stunning panoramic views of the bright blue Indian Ocean and watch beautiful marine life pass you by, such as sharks, rays, octopus, and an array of fish. We had the lovely Janna look after our villa, with whom we enjoyed lots of lovely chats throughout our stay. He also stocked our mini-fridge with the items we liked, which was a nice touch. He also created a lovely decoration on our bed to celebrate my brother's birthday and the night before we departed. The island is all-inclusive as standard, and it is amazing! It's so comprehensive; there are over 125 bottles of wine from around the world included, premium spirits such as Bombay Sapphire, and each cocktail is of great quality. The food on this island is incredible, and it's nice to have everything included instead of realizing that something you fancy is not part of your package and having to pay extra. The food is all premium quality, and they serve lobster

It’s all been said already, it’s lovely, superb white beach and very chilled. If you’re a real foodie the restaurants may be a bit limited but if you are happy to have a fresh tasty buffet it’s fine. The Senior Water Villas are worth the extra for their position, the extra outside space, outside bath etc. We had a lovely time.

Here is the problem. this is our second visit to Moofushi . Nothing has changed it was still perfect . when revisiting a location there will always be a concern that it will wont match up on a second visit. we need not to have worried. we had a wonderful time . it did not surprise us to be told that there some who had been back 20 times . the problem will be if we go back a third time will get the same senior water villa as this time . No we are not going to say which one it is as already we were told it is the one most requested. we want to have a chance on our third visit.

Honeymoon bliss. We started our Maldives trip at this hotel and we were not disappointed. We had a beach villa. This was a short walk from the restaurant and other amenities on the island. The best bit was the view through the french doors overlooking a white sandy beach and turquoise blue sea. Snorkelling 20-30 meters from the beach you were immersed in a coral reef with hundreds of fish. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom is quirky as it’s partly outside. So when showering you look up and see the palm trees and other plants. It’s still very private and there is no danger of being seen. The food choice and quality were very good and the staff excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here.
