Hendham House

I would never usually go so far as to write a review, however, soon as we arrived at Hendham House we checked straight back out. Initially, we believed the hotel to be located in central Manchester near Victoria Station as shown by the photos but it is in fact located in Harpurhey. Photos uploaded of the exterior of the hotel on the app were also a blatant and obvious lie as shown. On arrival we were also asked to provide a £50 security deposit by the lady on the desk, this wasn’t a problem until we arrived in our room to where the door frame was already broken off and there was a hole in the wall. The room we received looked nothing like the photos shown online and therefore I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. There are far cheaper hotels in central Manchester, save your money.

The hotel room was ace and the venue outside too. Great music and good vibes all round. The hosts treated us like family, we will definitely return this summer when the weather is nice again. Top place

Great hotel, we were warmly greeted at the door and our bags were taken up to our room whilst we checked in. The room was large and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean. The staff were always on hand to give any directions and recommendations. Yes there was decorating work going on but it did not affect our stay in the slightest and it was nice to see them working hard to improve the hotel quality. We would definitely return the location was great and convenient. Only downside is it is noisy at times but that was no fault of the staff who we did see actively managing this. Overall we give 4 stars for this lovely experience and will be back

Hendham House is an absolutely amazing boutique-style hotel situated on the outskirts of Manchester, a mere 10 minutes' drive from the vibrant city center. Let me just say that the hotel staff are absolutely incredible! They are so friendly and attentive, always wearing a warm smile and going above and beyond to ensure that their guests have the most delightful stay imaginable. We can personally vouch for the exceptional experiences we've had here while setting up for various events. Each time has been absolutely fantastic, leaving us with nothing but fond memories. Thank you so so much to all the staff here who made my birthday stay so special. The balloons were absolutely perfect and I loved every second of being here. Definitely a birthday to remember. The room was 5* quality at an extremely amazing price.

Hendham is a great little hotel, we stay every time we are visiting family in Manchester. The staff are lovely every time and we really enjoy staying here. It’s affordable, convenient and comfortable. The rooms here are amazing too! We highly recommend.

I have been coming to Hendham House for a long time now for events and balloon set ups and I can honestly say this is one of my favourite hotels. The staff are always extremely friendly and you can really tell they look after their guests. I always look forward to creating new balloon set ups and working with their amazing team. We stayed in an absolutely lovely room, it felt like the penthouse suite the decor was on point and ultra modern , the bed was also modern and comfy, the bedding was noted to be clean and well maintained and the en-suite was modern and clean . The room was luxurious and exceptional value for money . The staff were helpful and approachable, the hotel was only a 10 minute taxi ride from Manchester City centre , I would definitely book a room at this hotel again

Booked 4 months ago for a stay on March. Received a message to say they are now having a refurb the whole of 2023! Surely they’d have known before. Worst thing is they are still taking bookings on ***********? You’d think they’d have stopped that.
