The facility and room is quite old...the service is good. The hot spring schedule can facilitate different people but the hot spring is just satisfactory and not sure whether is it real one 😅

Yuhara Onsen bathhouse is a bit old
The facilities and services are good.
The hotel room is overall clean and has been renovated.
But don’t lose it. You can come again.
The location basically requires driving.

Yuhara-Kikunoyu Hot Spring Hotel has a beautiful environment. The hotel staff can communicate with us fluently in English and have a rich breakfast. I will book this hotel again next time I have a chance.

After making the reservation, I wanted to confirm whether the room was on the river or mountain side, so I sent an email asking if it was on the mountain side. Four days later, I received a businesslike reply saying, "Yes." I was stunned by the rude reply, which I couldn't believe was coming from an official website. When I later checked on the phone, I was told that all the rooms at the hotel were on the river side. I actually stayed in a room facing the river. I wonder what the answer to that email was. There were no problems with the stay itself, as the service was courteous. I was disappointed in the lack of email support.

The worst, the worst! ! ! Most of the front staff are foreigners and very few can understand Japanese. I don't understand the nuances at all. The Chinese staff didn't respond to my questions and ended up saying, "You're so noisy!" He put his fist on the counter and threatened me, so I felt scared and called 911. One detective and three police officers are wearing them, and the front desk is in an uproar. What was supposed to be a fun trip was ruined. The Chinese person's name is "Kei". This is the first time in my life that a hotel staff member called me ``Omae.'' I am a 66 year old elderly person. I want my precious time back! I'm not saying that the foreign staff are to blame, but I think the problem is that the management is completely uneducated in Japanese culture and how to be a hotelier. The nearby hot spring “Sunayu” was the best ♪
