We booked this place last minute to break up our journey home from Germany. It’s such a beautiful and quaint place with lots of original features. We were warmly greeted and shown to our rooms which were decorated beautifully with all original features still in tact. Attention to detail was faultless and the continental breakfast was amazing with so much choice. It’s a shame we only spent one night here as it really is beautiful!

A lovey stay. Danny was great, made my husband and I feel well looked after. Room was a little small, but clean and comfy bed. Breakfast was nice, more selection for cooked items would be good but a nice continental breakfast, Great location, lovely food and drink options nearby, shops very close. Thank you for your hospitality.

Lovely quaint hotel, very old, good room, comfy bed and lovely walk in shower. Continental breakfast was excellent, best choice I've ever had. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location, 3 minutes from The Mercury. Would certainly return.

Lovely afternoon tea with friendly staff. The tea was very fresh and the miniature cakes were better than having large pieces o cake that you can't eat. Staff very friendly and attentive. Sat in the garden where the chairs could have done with a little de-cobwebbing but other than that a lovely afternoon with my sister

We had a lovely afternoon tea. Good selection of sandwiches, cakes and fruit with tea, coffee and Prosecco. Host was very friendly and showed us around the hotel. The rooms are all amazing and very tastefully decorated. Highly recommended.

A lovely hotel just 3 minutes walk to main street the hosts are very friendly and helpful carried our luggage to upstairs room which was warm comfortable very comfy bed and pillows very clean continental breakfast lots of variety great coffee would highly recommend

By far the BEST customer service! We booked an afternoon tea and absolutely everything was perfect. The venue is immaculately clean and very well decorated. The owner and his staff could not have done more to look after us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. If only every venue was as good as this one!!! We will be back, thank you

We loved this quirky and very comfortable hotel! Roland was the most perfect host, with lots of interesting stories, told with great humor. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with many options. The free onsite parking is hard to find in this area, and everything is within a short walking distance. Accommodations were clean, comfortable, and quiet. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back soon.

Excellent hotel...beautiful old building with comfortable rooms and great decor run by really friendly people and to top it all a great healthy breakfast plus perfect location by the city centre.
