Hotels near Maurices, Maple Grove

Stayed here in November to get away for a weekend. A nice, clean hotel, both in my room and in public areas. I stayed in one of the king suites which had a decent sized bedroom and a living room area. It was nice to be able to spread out a bit and have that extra room. The bathroom was a nice-sized bathroom as well. Wifi worked well, parking lot was huge and parking was free. There are no restaurants in the immediate area, but plenty in a 10-15 minute drive to either Brooklyn Park or Maple Grove. My suite faced south on to I-694, but I did not find the road noise to be excessively loud. The lobby area and atrium area off of the lobby were nice and would have been a great place to hang out if not for the pandemic. Would definitely stay again if wanting a weekend away from home. Safe area with close access to I-694 and US-169, along with I-494 and I-94.

Cute one bedroom apartment. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer. Had a wonderful stay in the Minneapolis area. Staff is friendly. Aletha, at the front desk, was great. Plan to stay here again if we are in the area. Perfect accommodations for 2 people.

I reserved a king mobility room via phone to the front desk 9/23 for 10/2-10/5. My confirmation email showed pictures of just such a room. I believe this property has 4 such rooms. On 10/2 I did a digital key checkin at 3:00 pm as we would be arriving late in the evening and wanted to be sure we got the type of room my wife needed. On arrival, we found the shower was a walk-in with a fixed shower head and no seat rather than a roll in with adjustable shower and seat as we had been told in the confirmation. While considered an accessible room, it was not a mobility room. Perhaps the digital checkin system doesn’t differentiate between accessible and mobility rooms. This made my wife’s showers VERY difficult. Regardless, the hotel did not have the room I reserved available, despite my best efforts, and the desk staff could not offer any explanation other than they were out of all such rooms when we arrived. HOWEVER, before submitting this review, I included the same text in the comment section of the satisfaction survey requested by the hotel. Two days later, I got a very nice email from the property manager thanking me for my input, apologizing for the inconvenience, and informing me he had refunded the cost of one of the 3 nights! So, instead of ⭐️ ⭐️, it’s now ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. My advice: don’t trust the digital checkin system if you require a specific type of room. Also, unless you live in a cave, bring an extra light or two. The room we had was very poorly lit, even with all the lights on. And, if you have a problem and the staff doesn’t offer the opportunity contact the manager, as in my case, just ask. It will be worth it.

We were in this area for a wedding. Other parties stayed at the embassy and we chose to stay at this particular hotel. I would have to say this was my first stay at a Home2suites and this stay has me looking forward to staying with them again to where ever my travels take me. This particular location was clean, beds were comfy, the pool was great as well. We were here only for 2 days but I was pleased with the large room we had for our family of 4. We did the 2 queen bed studio room and it was one of the most spacious hotel rooms I have been in. The common areas we were well upkept and the complimentary breakfast (although) similar to other hotels was stocked so it was ready when we were ready. The following week in July I stayed in a different Home 2 suites and although it didn't hit the benchmark of this location it was also a great stay.

We had a local family getaway with the grands and the parents. This Embassy Suites fit the bill! Right from the beginning with Rochelle and Nancy running the desk for check in and check out, our weekend was lovely.With all the families with children staying there the weekend, it pool was clean, housekeeping was amazing keeping towels available. The adult happy hour was a fun event with a joyous bartender, Ike. Breakfast service was fantastic! Made-to-order omelette, buffet of bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and French toast, fresh fruit bar, bakery - and clean surfaces. Need a staycation?? Check out Embassy Suites here.

This is a well-run Courtyard Marriott that I give 5 stars because of friendly, fast check-in (thank you, Andrew), spacious, clean room (king bed), reliable wifi, Keurig in the room, and a very good fitness center (shared with the adjacent Marriott). The hotel was quiet during my stay, but there were also very few guests. Other observations: the Irish Pub, Kips, has decent food and prices. The location is very easy to access and right off a major road (I-394). Parking was ample. Note that Courtyard's don't offer free breakfast. Their website states that they charge for parking but I was not charged and in my opinion, charging for parking at that location would be ridiculous.

The staff are friendly, courteous, and competent. The building and its furnishings seem at a glance to be in good condition, but are sorely out of date and in need of modernization; the dated condition greatly lessened our enjoyment of our stay. The toilet did not meet Americans with Disabilities standards; it was too low and too close to the floor. The shower stall’s floor was slippery. The bathroom’s door hinges were corroded. The HVAC responded so slowly to the thermostat. When we arrived, the temperature of the room was 65 F (18 C) and the HVAC took many hours to reach a comfortable temperature. There were no instructions in print anywhere for using the telephone, for operating the thermostat, for learning about the hotel’s facilities, features, and services. The telephone itself was ancient. The costly breakfast buffet was mediocre. The floor of the swimming pool seemed to be covered with green slime.

Beautiful hotel, and the most accommodating staff. Front office manager Andy went above and beyond during the booking process and helped my boss’s family by making them feel at home. They really enjoyed their dessert! Will definitely be looking to the Hotel Landing for hosting our big events in the future. Thank you Andy and team!

Great service! Did not have shuttle available but was close to bus lines and staff was very pleasent. Room was cozy and clean, house keeping was very accommodating and friendly. Considering the pandemic occuring at this time I felt safe and comfortable during my stay.

Had a wonderful one night stay at the historic Nicollet Island Inn. Beautiful location and very convenient to downtown Minneapolis, St. Anthony Main/Stone Arch Bridge area and the University of Minnesota. We had a king room that was clean, comfortable, quiet, and spacious. Complimentary coffee in the morning, but no refrigerator in room. Staff was super friendly. Plenty of free parking. When you book a room, you have the option to make reservations for the restaurant, but we opted to eat elsewhere. It is expensive to stay here, but we loved it and would definitely stay again!
