The Hinson House Bed & Breakfast

One of the best B&Bs we have ever had the pleasure to visit. Keith, Olivia and Leah have created a beautiful, warm and inviting home. We stayed four nights and everything was spot on. Immaculate room, wonderful breakfast, and great conversation. We hope to return often.

Such a beautifully appointed home. Loved all the charming Easter decorations that welcomed us. The Sadie Suite was charming and perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made by Leah. She is the charming innkeeper who makes you feel right at home.

Great bed and clean room and modern bathroom. I would suggest that they offer a made to order breakfast. You can make a menue and the guest can order the night before. The coffer was fresh and had juice . And the history lesson of the property was very good

My family and I traveled to Marianna to see the Florida Caverns. The Hinson House was close to the park and reasonably priced. The house and our room were as described on their site. Antique furniture throughout. Our room was clean and comfortable. The common areas included a large foyer with a fireplace, a parlor, dining room, and covered front porch. All of these areas were decorated with antiques and gave guests areas to unwind outside of their rooms. Our hosts gave us a good dinner recommendation and made sure we had everything we needed for the evening. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and consisted of unlimited orange juice and coffee, a quiche, smoked sausage, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns. There was in-season fresh fruit presented in a carved watermelon. We were not disappointed in our breakfast quality or quantity, but were surprised when we were offered freshly baked cinnamon rolls to take upon our departure! I would recommend our hosts Keith and Olivia and the Hinson House to anyone travelling through Marianna.

I cannot say enough about the Hinson House. Not only was it clean and comfortable, but the food and hospitality were amazing! We found ourselves in a position for a last minute stay and could not have picked a better place. The best part though, are the owners and inn keeper. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and assist. We felt like the house was our own and we were staying with caring family members. I cannot say enough about it, you will enjoy your stay.

We had an amazing two night stay here whilst we went to visit the Seacrest Wolf Preserve (40mins drive away) which is also definitely worth a visit. The host was very helpful and friendly, breakfast delicious and room and house very special with lots of history. The cinema opposite we also visited during our stay which is great and very cheap compared to what we are used to. Being vegetarian we had domino’s pizza one evening which is just across the road and went to Mashany the other early evening which provides very good vegetarian options being a Turkish restaurant and it’s about a 2 mile drive away. We enjoyed an evening on the porch with a cold beer whilst watching the impressive thunderstorm. Highly recommended as the best place to stay in Marianna!

I would definitely stay here again! The room we stayed in was The Sleeping Porch, which has a large, very clean bathroom and a private entrance in the rear of the home with a wonderful deck for relaxing and enjoying the sunset. Surprisingly beautiful view of treed areas, birds and a lovely back garden. You can sometimes hear some traffic because the home is on the main street of the historic district, but I didn't find it bothersome and had a great night's sleep, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Excellent cheese grits, fluffy scrambled eggs, country sausage and the BEST blueberry waffles I have ever eaten in my life! Our host was friendly and easy to talk to, and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. I would recommend the Hinson House to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and charmingly vintage place to stay. It would be great to rent out the entire home for a wedding party or family reunion! And I just cannot say enough about the blueberry waffles- spectacular!

I stayed one night while visiting the caverns. Karen was so friendly and made sure all my needs were met. I felt so pampered with the comfy surroundings and wonderful breakfast. I stayed in the Sleeping Porch, and loved sitting outside and the luxurious towels. Breakfast was huge and delicious.

Absolutely Divine!!! Keith and Olivia are charming and top shelf hosts! The innkeeper, Leah, was delightful! Asked us what we’d like for breakfast and served it with such perfection and grace. The whole experience was an A+ !!! We had two vehicles pulling trailers which was no problem for parking and we were able to walk to a lovely restaurant across the street (Jim’s buffet) for nice sit down dinner. Thank you for your southern charm!
